Strick is back for a new Survival Challenge Series! He's re-visiting different survival stories while travelling up the remote stretches of the Great Barrier Reef. There's tales of heroic survival against all odds, and some tragic endings... Join him in the exact location of these scenarios to test his own survival skills and share their crazy stories.
I make a huge mistake in this one! This is a Survival Challenge which almost ends in real life tragedy...
Complacency got the better of me in Croc country and I almost came unstuck... I wasn't sure if I was going to release this footage because I feel like a bit of an idiot. But hope that it might serve as a reminder for others to not make the same mistake I did.

Hey Strict, I think you have discovered a gem here. There are countless CZcamsrs doing survival videos. However, telling a real life survival story in the exact location is super fascinating and brings the reality to survive straight home. I would watch as many as you could post. Super interesting! Great job mate!
Kinda like Survivorman aka Les Stroud the Canadian Icon.
Glad you enjoy them mate! Plenty more to come
Epic amount of microplastics in that water
I bet the guy who leaves the water for stranded people is so happy he helped someone finally lol
fr
More likely a container that went overboard. It happens frequently
It's pretty sad that there is so much trash in our waters that it can be consistently relied upon to be available in a survival situation.
If it wasn't about the microplastic it really wouldnt be any problem it'd just sit there indefinitely lol
most isnt even ours
@@randomuser4310 you're right dude! It came from all the animals and from space! 🤦🏻♂️🤣 open your eyes dude.. only we humans make this garbage that has washed up there
@@J_L_96 dont even try to blame it on us its the billion pound companies that dont care about their waste not the average joe, are you stupid
@@J_L_96 Brother he's talking about other people from developing countries not Australians. Developing countries just chuck their trash in the rivers without any collection barges.
Crocodiles are getting smart saving all the fresh bottles of water they have found over the years to bait ya in! Dang this video was real thou. Over here in Northern Canada we keep our backs to the water looking for bears, lions, wolves and coyotes. Such a difference. Glad your safe my friend!!
👍👍👍🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
This made my day😂
Lions?!?!
@@user-uj4ji5hi6v I’m not from Canada but I’m pretty sure he’s talking about mountain lions
@@user-uj4ji5hi6v definitely talking about mountain lions. i have the same animals where i live as well.
My heart was racing as well from that crock!! Glad you didn’t meet again! Love the history you shared! Thanks for great episode! Cheers from Arizona 🌵
Good to see you're giving the crocs a bit of thought. There have been a few episodes where i thought you might have been a little cocky about them. Keep your eyes open, I like your posts. I'd like to keep watching them.
Man what a wild story! So glad you didn’t turn into croc food , that looked close! Love from North Carolina!
Same from NC!
17:50 That freaked me out Strick! Has to be the most sinister moment in ANY of ur videos. Wow!!
That boy didn't like us taking the fish from his hole
@@happyjack9396 that bloody head, jst watching. Not a movement, nor a ripple. Millions of years of razor honing their strategy to kill. I agree mate, I don't think he liked Strick poking about on his patch at all.
If he had been 6ft closer to the water, I reckon it would have had a go!
People talking about how this is not real survival instead of enjoying the beautiful adventure .. smh. Thanks for sharing Strick, amazing as always!
I like you beeing honest about having supplies beyond the camera. You do not see that oftenly in survivalstories.
Thanks for posting this episode, even with the moments of complacency 😊. Definitely still a learning experience. Appreciate these survival challenge episodes 👍
That croc waiting for you... That was truly bone chilling... You got lucky there my man... Complacency kills...
That was quite the adventure ! They are so stealth , those 🐊 crocs ! Wonderful fire making skills 🙏🏻 thank you for telling those pilots stories , may they RIP 🙏🏻
Awesome, the croc that tried to grab you first looked small from the camera angle but once you held that last fish you caught up it became clearer how big it was...Down in South Florida USA living your adventures vicariously through you
I have been following your trip all the way. I am in Thailand looking at all the episodes. I wish to thank you very much for your entertaining series. Looking forward to your next adventure. Thank You so much. Ian.
I am loving this! Unlike all the other survival CZcamsrs this feels different.
Its actually supwr remote, there are real dangers...both are not needed but increased the quality in a way...but most importantly it is tied to a story, its in the exact location...just so different from all the other content
Catching a feed and a history lesson , reminds me of The Bush Tucker Man Les Hiddins , great episode
I think the Snapping handbag 🐊 thought 🤔 you were lunch Strick..
Awesome 👌 Episode, you earned that Barra.
Take care Brother !!!
Safe Travels
Cheers 🍻 Mate
🤔🤨🤥😏😳😧😮😁Yeah mate ! Good life, full sails !
Used to get these types of survival/story series in the uk (Ray Mears) absolute delight to be able to watch the same type of thing many years on, on YT. As many have said keep these going!
I love how you point everything out with arrows and stuff it make viewing the video so much cooler
Been watching your videos every night for a week or so and this is one of your craziest videos yet omg!! love the way you incorporate history too in your videos, def a new fan now for sure!! 😊
What luck with the water mate. A very interesting aviation story...Christ those Crocs are so creepy...Cheers and thanks for sharing. (UK)
You both do fantastic video's, educational and fun.
Thank you for sharing your adventures.
Kalamazoo , Michigan. USA. : )
Liiike there just happens to be fresh bottles of drinking water all around lmaoooo
you tell some crazy stories. good job, keep it up!
Strick i spend a lot of time watching australian survivalists its effectively my job and i can now say that when you make videos like this and the last they are the best
I grew on those beaches you’re on in this video! I used to have nightmare about crocs all the time as a kid. Got worse when a kid from my community got taken by an absolute monster. It was eventually caught. I have a photo of my dad on the back on a truck with its laying across the back. Easily two of him. Crazy!
What a great episode, top work.
One of the most awesome videos I have ever seen thank you.
Danger danger DANGER! Strick's last video. CROC FOOD😳😖 RIP Jack😥
(I'm kidding, thank God)
Excellent job once again. Love the history lessons and the different environments with these survival enactments. I have a feeling you will be paying attention a bit more astutely from now on, damn that was close!
what an adventure ....er heads up on the pernod ,its pronounced perno the d is silent!....made me smile here in France ...I wonder what jetsome /flotsome the poor bugger would have been able to find in 48-9....just goes to show you can never, ever take your eyes of the ball in croc country.....big old lesson for all there I think ....ps more please
Thoroughly enjoyed this mate quality content mixed with some good storytelling.
wow this was amazing done, better than any survival show i seen on tv
These videos never disappoint Strick 🤙🏼
You remind me of watching Macolm Douglas as a kid in the 80's. Good times then and now. :D
PS: Greetings from Austria. Yeah, the one with cows, not kangaroos. ;)
Excellent video. Thank you!
In a survival situation, it's great to have all that rubbish available, but sad to see it there cluttering up that beautiful island.
A different take on things valid
Cool vid as always. I know you're experienced, but take it easy around crocs. Lost a friend to a croc a few years ago.
these videos are awesome, youre telling stories and surviving all in one.
Going to miss these adventures now that you main land based. Due to the cyclone. Thank you for the adventures from South Africa
Survival always has a element of luck. Awesome content jack
I appreciate this kind of content so much
He's stalking you at the same time you are stalking him. 😂
That's wild how much things was on that beach
Let’s go. Some entertainment for my Sunday 👌🏻🤙🏼
That was close. The other one just watching you...creepy.. Glad you safe
The soldiers back in WWII wouldn't have had the benefit of such luck regarding the fresh water. I think it would be better to operate on those lines to keep it closer to their plight at that time. They wouldn't have had the 'benefit' of such refuse wash up on shore either.
Such a good
Episode! 🙌🏽
What an interesting piece of content to stumble upon. I've watched countless "survival" videos of other content creators but those were all people playing make believe in "survival video games". I'm very interested in making my own comparison between the two which I'm sure are somewhat similar but light years apart at the same time! Great content my friend and never stop being you cuz your teaching people actual useful and possibly life saving skills that I think everyone should know and practice!😊
Beautiful video Jack, it is very pleasant and instructive. I hope I can travel to your land and meet you, friend.
I love your video, keep them coming.
Loved it!!❤ new sub...and gonna binge watch now haha
It’s incredible how many fresh water bottles you found!
great video not sure many would sleep that night either mate !
Dude, seeing that croc head when you turned back around you never saw or heard anything and tbh that head was so still I might have walked right back up to it. This just proves i'd be dead stuck in that area.
Some how i noticed the brand Sasa water bottle used for your hand line 🤣🤣 must have floated right up to Australia lol
Brave Man. I respected you. ❤❤❤
Great survival vid. Thx
Very great content. Better than most high production commercial stuff.
Dang you are so good at what you do bro keep up the good work
Sweetie don't forget to pack the water bottles and the fishing lure 😂
Why do they go to film these survival videos close to civilization lol. It's so pointless. This was lame.
@@oosmosmoo That is the dumbest thing i have ever heard.
1. Ocean currents can wash up rubbish to the most remote of islands
2. Why would he go overbudget to an island that is more remote even though the video will pretty much be the same?
3. He literally said at the start of the video that he was doing the challenge based of where that plane had crashed.
i dont get why u didnt use one of those water bottles to wash the fish...
Ikr???
hes going to peel the skin either way
Shouldn't wash a saltwater fish in fresh water to start with it ruins the flavour and in a survival situation you shouldn't waste water either
Waste of fresh water
you don't waste drink water!
Cool jack, that cod was cooked to profection and looked very tasty.thanks for the video
That was awesome, Jack.
Awesome Premier Mate!
Hey mates, checking in from Minnesota. Great content and super amazing videos and stories. It would be really cool if you were able to add in a super imposed map into your videos of the region you are in within Australia and the gps coordinates and current temp. Just a suggestion, keep enjoying the adventures and the awesome content. Let the good times roll… smoke em’ if you got em’! Cheers JB
Love the background tune ❤
Keep up the good work love the videos
Not fair Strict, a lot of these items wouldn't have been there! LOL Very exciting video. Look forward to more to come.
Scary croc encounter for sure ! 👍 🤓
19:42 on that drone shoot, look at the left side of the river, you can see him swiming away lool, dope af
tarpon i believe thats no croc, the croc he saw would be twice that fishes size
@@troywilliams7261nah that was a bull shark
Good one Jack!
You’ve got it made brother hot misses off the grid skills well done
Man ! It is very hard to believe , unless the first pilot had severe injuries . He could get the pilot out of the flipped plane ?!? The 2nd crashing in the tree's is pretty crazy also . RIP brothers ... doc 68-71 RVN Blue , grunt , recon ..
Amazing content mate 😊
Champion...love your episodes: ) crazy question but what brand are your sunglasses?
Those clear plastic bottles cut into long thin strips & used as a twine & then shrunk with heat create a super strong tight clasp
Dude. You know it!
Where’d you learn that? Pretty cool
Some bloke, love you’re videos mate keep it up 🇮🇪❤️🇦🇺
take care your self bro . i hope the best for you . ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love this channel.
And btw i have that exact same Gerber knife i love it
good video, stay safe brother
great video
So much water bottle 😅.....bro is hacking 😅😂😂
Even though you’re Australian, you can never be too careful, stay safe brotha 🫡
I'm happy to watch his video🥰🥰🥰
I think that croc was pissed you took his meal!😆
Awesome video
I've visited Australia a couple of time and have to say, Baramundi is one of the finest eating fish on the planet. Morton Bay Bugs are also an Aussie treat.
That croc was like "Bruh I was about to get that"
Nice cut before the fire😂😂 I bet he lit the match and cut it out😂😂
I absolutely love that logo design for your channel
dunno who made it but they did a great job
Good video man.
SALTWATER CROCODILE 🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊 THERE. ALWAYS KEEP SAFE❤. WATCHING AND SUBSCRIBER FROM PHILIPPINES
#Black 2 Basics Adventures
definitely looked like 2 different crocs for sure!. first one looked like a stumpy nose as well.
Glad ya made it out alive buddy haha
Lucky you caught that fish when ya did!
Yoooooooo that big assssss fish crazy catch
Nice job bro
Thats a lot of bad luck in that story of pilots like what??good video mate hope that croc wont cause you any nightmares cause that was scaryyyyy
awesome vids man. all that rubbish prob from the floods and cyclones that australia has been having thats my guess
Is it the same croc? The head did look larger but it was also camo very well could have been more of a shadow compared to the clear drone footage of the beach croc?
