  • Take a guided tour of our floating home, where we talk about Aquila's features, and the upgrades/changes we made to her. This is the exterior boat tour starting at the bow and working our way to the stern, and was filmed while anchored off the Île de Ré near La Rochelle, France.

Stunning boat. Love the 41AC & 45AC. Learnt to sail over 30 years ago on a Moody 31. Lovely yachts.

Gotta tell you - I don't think that storing gasoline (aka "petrol") in a closed locker (even if it is vented at the bottom) right next to a constant potential source of sparks - the windlass motor - I'm not sure that's a good idea at all...

Yeah, it’s a tricky one. There is no perfect place to store petrol on most yachts.
The locker is vented so fumes shouldn’t accumulate and we take the cans out before we use the anchor windless.
The alternative is to store on deck but I don’t like the idea of the cans sitting in the sun all day.
