If it fogs it's a size issue because, all your breathing causes heat, which causes fogging in masks, and that's from any gaps under the rubber jaw in the mask.
Hello, my question is why don't they make a mask that covers your eyes and nose but not your mouth, with a 2-3 or 4 meter long tube, so we could dive deeper?If used strictly by inhaleing through nose and exhaleing through mouth ,CO2 wouldn't build up in the tube.In addition there would be no fog because you would always exhale air through your mouth into the water.
I guess this is a good idea in concept, but my feeling is you would always want that 4 meter tube to be longer invariably. I do like the idea of never mixing the nose and mouth area tho!

GivesAMinute it looks like it would help me and others that have severe Bank injuries. It looks like it would cause less arch in the back from trying to get your head out of the water. If I could swim with a plank holding my back straight. I do miss swimming and one day I’ll get to try snorkeling.

Any mask is going to fog if you really don’t want your mask to fog put soap in your mask and mix it around with your hand and then rinse it out with water a little trick from a scuba diver ☺️
This is very true actually. If you try to blow it all that happens is you fill the mouth/nose area with CO2. That makes this not a "fresh air intake" I guess!! Thanks Christian for this! :)

I think they design it to fail on diving because they don't want people to blow their eardrums diving with a mask you can't equalize with. So they rather you start filling up with water and turn back rather then bleeding ears

I didnt attack you or your content but was simply stating what I thought might have been a small bit of ingenuity from a company to prevent unwanted injuries. Very few people know how to do a hands free equalization so a mask that prevents you from pinching your noise can be dangerous especially for new divers. Maybe the company though hay to prevent people getting hurt using our product maybe let's introduce a annoying leak that would prevent people diving too deep. I don't see why that though would lead you to feel the need to post that response.

If you cant touch your nose you can't equalize the ear pressure to descend skindiving.

Not exactly correct, as this mask sealed my face perfectly. The silicone moulds to my contours perfectly leaving no gaps at all.

Yes, the snorkel parts come off.
Question about diving under with this mask. Do you have to purge the mask with air when you come up. In order to breath again?
Not really. No water goes down the tubes, so you don't have to purge at all.

Can you do a deeper dive to 5 metres or so? Need to clear the ear pressure. Have they resolved the fogging issue?
You can dive as deep as you are able to if you can equalise without pinching your nose. Check the video for the fogging issues.

It's not that bad once you're under the water it's the getting in and out that's the horrible bit when that wind chill hits you.

confused as to why applying defog solution is not the main remedy to fogging. . .
I mean, that does work depending on what solution you own.
GivesAMinute I guess I am not familiar with masks that are adequate at keeping themselves defogged without the defog solutions
The only mask I've used that didn't require any solution was the Seabeast AF90.

I've never experienced the reflection issue, but you are right: you cannot equalise with this mask.
