I’m kinda new to the truck camper thing myself, but it looks like the camper is too close to the roof of the cab. You might wanna shim the camper up with a sheet of 3/4 plywood and rubber mat, next time you take it off.
It’s has a horse stall mat under it. It’s never touched the roof before and we have had it all over the place. Maybe the camera makes it seem closer than it is
We were looking at that one as well! It really came down to what was close to us within our price range. The closest we could find was the Northstar 11 hours away lol. But we love it! Either would be great

That's rad you got that pickup and camper for 20 grand! Especially that being a 7.3 powerstroke. The best one they made. It will last you 400+ thousand miles.
The outdoor shower will be nice to get rid of any dirt & mud you pick up while hiking and exploring. Rinsing it off outside rather than tracking it in will cut down on cleaning!

I've got the same problem with my 05 F350 dually rusted out bed rails. Im not looking forward to pulling the bed. I might try to weld the new rails myself but there is a local guy here in Florida that is mobile so I might use a pro. Keep up the good videos I enjoy watching you guys out west. It’s not a super technical job, just kinda time consuming. The parts were only like $300. All most all of the bed bolts had to be cut off on ours, hopefully yours come out easier.

Does Hank have a rear locker built into the differential or is it just the basic Hi/Low range Four Wheel Drive? If it is just the basic you can get stuck easily without a locker, so maybe something to look into. I put a rear locker in my old Isuzu Trooper II and it made a world of difference off road! I'm so happy for you guys!! I know this has been a dream for a while and it's great to see it all come to fruition and the Mobile Life of CandE. (and Mona) Adventures (the North American edition) is finally On the Road!! Oh! I have some pins for you (and possibly some other stuff) not too sure how to get it to you but we'll figure it out! We ordered a better rack for the motorcycle and it actually just arrived ! The truck sadly only has a lsd in the rear. We would love to have some air lockers or at least a lunch box locker in the future ! Troopers are cool off-roaders and not so common like wranglers and 4Runners . We will have to get back to you on a good address as we haven’t been anywhere more than 3 days in the last 2 months . We would love to add some more pins to the collection!

I put over 100k miles on my Northstar Laredo SC (Hardside) with no issues. Check cassette alinement. You my need a shim on one side to prevent leakage. Also buy a spare water pump. Otherwise it’s a hand pump sprayer to take a shower.

I liked Guam but 4 months was enough drove around it in a day in a weapons carrier. That's when the U. S. Was bombing north Vietnam with B 52's..I was a seabee
What model is your Northstar? When the top is down, can the a/c be running? And lastly, what is the width and length of the dinette bed? Love your setup! Enjoy
It’s a 2006 northstar 850sc . The ac will run with the top down but will have to check on the exact measurements of the dinette . It’s about 6ft long just unsure on the width.
