Isn’t the greatest sin denying Jesus, refusing entry to Him into our hearts, where we have banished him from?
Thank you Pastor Colin for bringing the reality of punishment and destruction, as you said that the one praying and awaiting the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. That may go beyond church doctrine or confession. Confession can be excluding. Why? Because God the Father, God the Son and God the Holly Spirit are beyond legible human explanation, as well as many other characteristics of God. That does not nullify the expulsion of one who brings heresy into worship, as some things are explained very adequately, with only one possibility. Jesus has done everything to conform to the will of the Father, all for our eternal good. He is to be worshipped and glorified above church the building, above the confessions that particular church has. We are saved by faith alone. God in Jesus has redeemed us from that horrible place; hell. And the Spirit testifies to it. Thank you Lord

Perhaps unbeknownst to many traditionalists who cite this verse as a challenge to conditionalism, Jesus is quoting here, in which it is said explicitly that it is corpses being consumed by fire and maggots-not living beings. Those traditionalists who are aware of this nevertheless insist that the worm is depicted as never dying and the fire as never going out. But this is not what these idioms communicate.
The phrase “does not die” is used several times in the Hebrew scripture and does not mean will never die (; ; ). It means that someone or something will not die at a particular time or in a particular context. In that context is the consumption of corpses. So their worm, it is promised, will not die before fully consuming the bodies. And like other tenacious scavengers that are difficult to prevent from fully consuming their corpses (; ), the irresistible and complete consumption of the dead by the worms makes their shame permanent and everlasting.
And a fire which “is not quenched” is not a fire that will never go out. The primary meaning of quench is “to extinguish.” The biblical picture here is of a fire that cannot be quenched, a fire which cannot be prevented from fully consuming its fuel (; ; ;

What is the difference being judged for one sin or a multitude, when God says that for all who trust in following the law, but fails at just one of them, has forfeited all?
Can you explain the difference between punishment and destruction, as they appear very similar. Am I wrong in saying that even while possessing earthly bodies, the person in hell without their maker isn’t able to fulfil the purpose God created them tor? “Babylon the great has fallen”, God calls us to escape it.

It's not Gods character to keep someone in hell aware of it for all eternity, what about the "second death"
