The Carrier Infinity 24 Heat Pump with Greenspeed® Intelligence is Carrier's newest and most efficient heat pump, with up to 24 SEER, 15 EER, and 13 HSPF. It's a fully variable speed unit that operates in increments from 25% of max capacity up to 100%. It has a control board with Bluetooth capability, which allow technicians to connect to the control, see different operation parameters, see trouble codes and fault histories, and allows technicians to update the software from their cell phone. You can also update the software on the control board. When you pair the full Infinity System together (the wall control, the indoor unit, and the communicating outdoor unit), the whole system works in harmony, so as the outdoor unit varies in speed, the indoor blower is also going to vary in speed to match that operation.

Need a real air handler or a furnace unit of some sort? I am more familiar with the furnaces and dual-fuel setups. Saves big bucks, if you have solar and natural gas.
