- bambu tali/apus (bisa ganti bambu hitam, ater, atau petung) menit 0:14
- akar tunjang pohon bakau (bisa ganti cork atau eva foam) menit 10:00
- reel seat fuji ptsmps 16
- ring guide fuji ul 8-7-6-5-5-4-4-4 top 4-2
- cork butt cap
- benang guide tread ncp
- sambungan sok joran 8mm
- lem epoxy resin bening
Panjang Joran :
180 cm (bawah 36cm, atas 144cm)

dari atas 6-7-8-10-12-15-18-21

I have one from my uncle......I'm afraid of using it because it might break given it is close to 60 years old :D.
But it was intended for pike and trout....and it's a bit more heavy.

@@blueparay Don't know the price, but it was his only spinning rod, and it's older than my dad :))... It's somewhat a stalker rod, as it has 2 end pieces, one longer than the other for getting throught the brushes and reeds.....Looks old too, as the bamboo is somewhat brown now, but you can clearly see the fibers.
Don't really know how things back in the past lasted that much. Probably was something top of the line back then.

This is truly amazing! I have English bamboo fly rods that are created through molds and planing as well as gluing the pieces together to make them with six sides but you build them out of one piece with a knife! You are very skilled!

I have a whole mess of bamboo sitting out back that has been curing for about 2 years now, I was going to make a tiki hut but I never got around to it. have done a lot of little projects around the house but I've been meaning to make a fishing pole, my idea was to use a bunch of strips so if one breaks you still have the rest to support it, like fiberglass i guess. but I like the way this came out I'm going to try it for sure! in fact, im grabbing a stick now🙌

Estava pensando em uma maneira esses dias de baratear a pescaria esportiva. Esse projeto se encaixa no que pensei, parabéns.
Beautiful rod, absolutely gorgeous. I've been wanting to make a custom rod for some time now, but having not ever done it and no carving abilities I wouldn't be able to do something like this. I was just gonna get a st. Croix blank. Put the guides I want and handle, as I really like larger handles. I've always loved light tackle, so I plan on doing a longer light to ultralight rod for panfish and drifting crayfish for smallmouth. Maybe even steelhead. The type of fishing I do the most next to that would be casting jerk baits and cranks so I'll likely build a relatively moderate, stiffer medium action rod as well and likely do that first. Sometime in the future I'd like to get an awesome fishing kayak so I'll need some longer rods but still have a couple heavy enough to troll small to medium lures and drifting live bait
