To be honest, Elizabeth Swan is one of the most underrated empowered female charactes ever! And she is GREAT!!!! She kicks asses, she takes issues in her own hands, she went from a damsel in distress to the leader of Pirates.

And the great thing is it wasn't forced, it was alongside strong male characters, and there was real character development that was believable based on her mischievousness and curiosity as a child in the film. Current Disney should take notes.
Some true, but if you watched the movies you will know that she wasnt really leader of the Pirates. She was a pawn in that position used by some of the other players. Though,she is a empowered female Character and made the best of it by trying to play the other players and even inspired the pirates in her position and assumed some form of leadership.
Yup the underrated main character of the billion dollar franchise. So underrated She only made like $60m off the movies. I hope She'll make it one day.

A woman doesn't need big boobs to be incredibly sexy, and Keira Knightley is a perfect example of that reality.
There are countless lovely women out there who aren't busty. People who think that a woman needs to be busty to be sexy just have no class.
to be honest, how many men do you know who say big boobs are more attractive then small ones? I know none. But that does not mean I dislike big boobs if they match the girl. There is only one thing that turns me off right away and that is fake boobs. Just like any facial surgery and fillers. There is nothing worse then artificial changes to a woman. and it shows always

There was so much chemistry between these two! The conversation flowed so naturally and Conan was classy and respectful. Kiera seems so well educated and grounded. Good stuff 👍

Conan seems like a truly good guy unlike the other creepy talk show hosts. Whenever anything awkward or potentially disrespectful comes up, he always somehow turns it around into a self-deprecating cute joke about himself and can laugh at himself instead. That’s a real guy ❤️🙌🏻👯♂️

The first trilogy of Pirates of the Caribbean is just fantastic. That type of pure entertainment and great characters is something we have barely seen since. I hope they can get back to this style of film making if they ever make more movies in this franchise. Gore Verbinski as director and then the old cast back together would be my dream 🙏
Gonna have to recast or kill off Captain Jack Sparrow. Depp has already said he won't do another, after Disney dropped him over the controversy with the Walloping Bed-Sh*tter.

I first watched Keira Knightley in the movie “Pirates of the Caribbean”, but it wasn’t until I saw her in “Pride and Prejudice” that I truly appreciated her talent. Her portrayal of Elizabeth Bennet was captivating and memorable.
Just stunningly beautiful in that film
I saw her first in Love Actually, and she stole the show.
I like how she is very appreciative of the compliments on her career. It is something to be proud of.
Conan is such a history buff, he loves these period pieces and it shows 🥰

Conan handled the Cleavage part so well, some other late night hosts at that time would makes it feel weird or creepy, Conan didn't even try to go there, such a classy act.

I honest to god wish she would do more action movies. If you watch the behind the scenes features for Pirates 2 her stunt double said Keira was so good with her choreography and stunt training that she could’ve been a professional stuntwoman.
I guess it often is the sort of insurance needed, there's very few like Tom Cruise regarding doing their own stunts.
Her beauty is something else. I don't even think I would be able to talk around a women so classy.

I've always held Keira as my personification of a perfect woman. People always drool for Margot Robbie and I get why, but I'm all about Keira.

There are people who are attractive to one gender, Kiera is more attractive to men in general, Leonardo di Caprio is attractive to women in general then there are actors who are attractive to both men and women and Margot robbie is that, brad Pitt might be considered that.

Pride and Prejudice was adapted so brilliantly with this version.
I'd seen the series and liked it by accident nearly.
But in the movie she was most endearing, and the part where she as Elizabeth gives Dame Judy's character that good old Elizabeth Bennet honesty it was genuinely a brilliant moment in cinema for myself personally.
Both were great. And the casting was splendid all around.
Donald Sutherland nearly made me cry a few times. In both ways.

I had to laugh, just a little, when she mentioned her cleavage being painted in...I'm a makeup artist, I knew exactly what she was talking about.
In honesty, I can't say I've enjoyed every role I've seen her in...but I can't think of a single interview I've seen where she didn't come across as utterly charming and delightful. She's one of those actors that I think would just be good company when they're off the set.

This is how you realize it's very much a craft, acting. Here she carries herself a bit awkward, nothing close to the "perfection" of her roles. It makes it all the more impressive that good actors pull it off. And Keira was convincing from the start of her career.

I know everyone is complementing Conan on not being creepy about the boob painting, but there was an even more subtle thing here that really got my attention.
When Keira said she always wanted to be the boys in the movies.
This is actually something that's really complicated to have said. She expressed it as a childhood preference, but it also possibly represented two things:
1. A statement about the roles traditionally given to women when she was growing up
2. Not being a girl's girl. Basically, being a girl who doesn't like or respect other girls or feminine things. And that's a hidden part of hating women that growing feminists will tend to overlook or fall into.
Notice what Conan does here.
He doesn’t make her wrong, doesn't try to teach or fix. He takes in all these interpretations and defuses them both by earnestly elevating feminine things and then making a joke that validated and sets Keira up to respond to the best possible version of her statement.
He makes them *both* look really good.
And gives Keira the opportunity to expand on what she said.
It's actually pretty incredible.
On the contrary, I didn't see anything complicated/problematic in what she said.
It's just how it is. Most women in movies are just eye-candy and damsel's in distress, and when they're not, which was like 5-10%, they mostly were the "bad-ass" women who didn't need any men (which also implies no interpersonal relationships) and could do everything better than anyone.
I know this is a minor thing but I find it fascinating that they uploaded an interview back from 2005 and so seamlessly made it look like it could have just happened a week before they uploaded it or something.
Her talent is very underrated. She played an amazing role in:The Jacket, as a supporting actress to Adrian Broady.

I was actually asking myself how she got such a great bosom in that movie. I love it! Well, the corsets of course do push it to your body and therefore up. But where there is no fat and a nice bit little breast... you can't push up too much. So she had a good make-up bosom artist❤❤ Now I know.
