I feel ya, brother, had one for nine months, she supported my religion all the way. I was told it wasn’t working, but I didn’t care. Released her, thinking I could find another, as she was leaning away from speaking to me. Didn’t know that she felt like she needed a bit more time with friends, I thought she was done. Struggled to move on for a while, but I learned to move on after four months, and this song was the reason.
From a woman’s perspective…. I’ve never experienced having a partner “try” or in this case, chase, until it’s too late. A little effort goes a long way. But, when their actions don’t match their words… It gives all the false hope of “what could have been”, instead of what should have been.
Ladies (or gentlemen)… don’t give more than you receive. If your effort isn’t matched, know that they aren’t the one.

Haven’t you heard Bailey in the short streaming yesterday of him getting booed off the stage. It’s all in the microphone and sometimes the mic gets screwed up and Bailey can’t recover. @Happy_2689 very true. Anything worth having is worth fighting for. Me and my man met about two years ago, we had instant chemistry and it was amazing. But six months later he told me that he wanted to be single for a while. At the time we were both individually recovering from our own issues emotionally and the timing wasn't right. After four months that felt like forever I reached out to him, a few months after that we started hanging out again. It didn't take long for us to rekindle what we lost. In our time apart we realized that we regretted giving up on each other so fast. I knew in my heart there was no way it was really over for good, so I chased him and he chased me back. I can honestly say that things are way better this time around. He's my rock.😊
