    Kindly note, I have made a mistake at timestamp 14:56, be it if you are using the single connector or split connector, the drawing ampere is from the Pump header, make sure you plug the pump header to a 2A fan header or pump header of your motherboard.

The review i saw from Gamer Nexus, they had such a hard time mounting it and I could clearly see he wasn't holding down with enough pressure in order to mount it. @@KleoYan Got it! I wish the cold plate covered the whole IHS on my AM4 (5900x). Cold plate is large enough, but offset is wrong (or made to be universal, so they compromised) Thanks again!

    • @KleoYan
      @KleoYan  Před 4 měsíci +1

      @rMs Good observation. This I can answer as why Arctic did it this way. Initially they wanted to do separate Liquid Freezer III. a set just for Intel and a set for AMD (coldplate on the pump already offset), which each have a different coldpate. the AMD offset coldpate and the Intel (normal coldpate no offset). But final decision was to do one unit to suit both platform as to reduce the confusion to new pc builders. So thats why for what you purchase right now. Intel will be perfect dead center but for the AMD the offset mounting bracket will move the pump down just to have the coldpate cover the vital part of the AM4 or AM5 Die.

      Hi Daniel Dacorso, welcome to my channel. Yes there is. In my opinion to prolong the lifespan of a pump. It’s best to run it consistent rpm which I have fix. I can control the rpm of vrm fans and radiator fans. If you plug the single cable. What ever you control. All will follow, this will be bad for the pump. Plus for vrm and rad fans the noise you can’t control either. As all three will follow to one settings.

On the standard fans, I think at 288W was doable. Right now I set my CPU (i9-14900K) to PL1=253W and PL2=253W, ICC=307A, under volted to an OFFSET of 0.1V, with a Cinebench 23 score of Multi-core = 39075, Single Core = 2351. Does thicker the radiator would be better for cooling? In all AIO brand, the Arctic AIO only use the thick rads and does the thicker rads when installing inside a smaller case (Example: Asus Prime AP201) would take a lot of space, right?

    • @KleoYan
      @KleoYan  Před 4 měsíci +2

      Hi MicerGlancer, welcome to my channel and yes, which thicker radiator and good static air pressure, your CPU temp will be lower. In practice why Arctic is always listed top AIO is due to their radiator thickness where other brands AIO are following. Example, from 27mm standard thickness to 30mm or 32mm. You see, bigger surface area will absorb more heat and to dissipate heat. With the higher static air pressure like the Arctic P12 Max, temperature will go alot lower. As for mounting into cases, there are restriction on space, you will need to check if it can fit to your case. as for Prime AP201, is a no go to use LF2 or LF3.

What if you want to mount the rad in the front of the case and have fans setup for pull. Can they easily be flipped over and can you still have the cables go down the side of the rad that is hidden. Also what if you want to change the fans completely ? How do you remove the fan cabling from inside the tubes sleeving ?

    • @KleoYan
      @KleoYan  Před 4 měsíci +1

      HI Keith Flanagan, welcome to my channel. if you flip the fans to pull configuration, the cable which is in the tube is long enough to cater for the other side and if you change fans, I would still plug to the tube cable or you can choose to plug at a separate cable which is directly plug to your motherboard fan header. As for the cable that is in the tube, you can't remove it. I will just cable tie it and to hide it nicely.
      As you can see in this test, for the LF2, I have done the separation, as I know if I am to use the LF2 single cable, the rotation of the pump and fan will be much weak. So I have the LF2 pump to my Pump_Fan and radiator fan to CPU_Fan. For the LF3, I am using the splitted cables and not the single cable.

I don't find them noisy, as mentioned, it depends on individual hearing, plus you can tune the RPM for the VRM, you don't have to run full, VRM fan can be tune in a way that during idle it can run at 800rpm, once temperature goes up, you can also set the max rpm run. Hi Starwarsxmarvel, welcome to my channel. where did you plug the daisy chained 3pin 5v ARGB Connector of the fan to? If it's directly to your motherboard, double check the argb connection of the fans and if you plug to a argb/fan hub, which has 8 to 10 port.. you can't daisy chained and plug to 1 port. you will need to split up the fans and plug them in individually.

      Hi prince prefa, welcome to my channel. Yes, alot did message me and told me that. I guess is up to individual and the key point is to support before mounting, let gravity does it's job. If you observe carefully, I rest my whole palm on the ram slots which give me a steady platfrom when I am holding the AIO Pump block, also the anchor points of my fingers which covers the back, middle and front, then I screw the block in. If you observe what other reviewers are doing, they hold by the back or even at the radiator hose, which gives unsteady or unfirm grip on the AIO block. That's why to me is easy as I just let gravity does it's work.

    Ahahahhaha. "Can't hear the pump". At 100% my lf3 pump resonates with the motherboard and a bit with the rad itself. But on top of it pump rattles as crazy (not the bubbles but actual rattle). Hi Robert Zanatta, welcome to my channel. For the pump noise along with the VRM fans, yes they are not as quiet as the Liquid Freezer II and you are right about the clearance. It's a similar situation with LF2. Infact in most of my case reviews, I always take Liquid Freezer II to measure the clearance.
