- This is dedicated to my friend Lovieuru, who has been a huge supporter of my Touhou addiction. Also, he has been playing some games lately that feature Suwako, so this is for you! :D
Gosh, it feels like it's been forever since a run actually worked out in my favor. This run includes what just may be the craziest dodge on Native God in the history of everything that has existed (show me if I'm wrong). Actually, I messed up hardcore on both survival cards, and for some reason I still managed to get the perfect (thank god for improvisation). I was well over due for this anyways. Overall, I'm very happy with this. - Hry
So I was hitting a dead end with my progress for this stage, then I looked at this video and saw you were using Reimu A, beat the game with it and tried the Extra with it. Easiest Extra of my life. What the heck is up with those homing shots? It was also my first Extra! Thanks for the vid!

Touhou 10 extra is so insidious. Previous series' extra levels featured near to impossible chances to go to the boss ( for my normal difficulty hands) with more then 0 lifes. There i managed to easily pass through midboss and most enemies without trouble during the first playthrough. AND HERE THE MAD 10 SPELLCARD BOSS COMES! The game completely humiliated me :(
So I think the lesson here is: Never fuck with someone who has a massive JPEG of a frog floating behind them.
Nowhere near as good as you are, but to me most of her spellcards look way easier than in Imerishable Night's extra. The bulllet spam on the other hand...
This is so helpful to see other strategies while using some of my own. Very impressive btw

Thanks dude. Before I tried this run, I was studying videos like yours and other people who have perfected the stage just so I could get those cards. If's funny how I started using the right techniques and they slowly dwindled apart on me.

I think the reason it says 30 fps is because I configured the game to play back with 1/2 frameskip prior to recording for better performance, or maybe it's because FRAPS recorded it at 30 fps. I don't honestly know. Bottom line is that it's not a TAS. Ask any experienced Touhou player, and they'll agree.

Thanks, Nindella. You should play this stage once you get around to it. All the attacks are really fun. Challenging at first, but easy once you understand the little tricks.
You went to the middle left on that second survival,,, that doesnt feel like a good spot for me, yet you still got to cap it

I just beat Extra stage. The midboss second spell was Mindblowing and btw, i was using that strategy too, and using reimuA is easier. Anyway, thanks for the strategy!

I just beat Suwako for the first time now, except a lot less elegantly. 0 lives and 2 possible bombs on her last spell, I was freaking the fuck out. God damn it that's stressful. But that glorious feeling of euphoria at the end of beating it is the greatest reward ever.

There is bug on the game with the marisa player,if you choose the laser type and you get 3 power the damage done with the lazers is crazy wich means you can beat the game and the extra stage without much difficult

That bug is so cool but I feel like I'm cheating whenever I use it :( so I just use reimuB

Oh geez what were you doing against the last 20 seconds of the second survival card and how did you survive it anyway, Speaking of which, it's kind of a dumb card but I find the final 20 seconds so much fun I've been known to play this entire stage just to get at it. Hell, this card justifies this stage's existence in my head.

This run is in 30fps = half the normal speed. You should state in the video title that it's a cheated TAS run.
It was _recorded_ at 30 fps. The game ran at 60fps. This is completely legit.
I see where the confusion comes from. He's showing off a replay. The 30 at the very bottom right indicates what the CURRENT game is running at, while the 60 in the bottom right of the game area indicates the framerate during the actual gameplay that the replay corresponds to.
