Maintenance Update! An aquarium guide to the crystal shrimp Aquarium I keep in my Fish room. I try to guide the viewers as best I can, hopefully this is an entertaining one! The rotala is completely out of control in this tank, let's wrangle it in! #aquarium #guide #Aquascape

OOOOO... Perfect timing for this video as I recently purchased an In Vitro cup of this plant to use in my new 75g. Awesome!
Thanks for the video
I totally have to get more disciplined at pulling the bottoms of the plants out after a trim. I usually just leave them and replant the tops elsewhere. But when you always do what you've always done you always get what you've always got.
Nice video. I was wondering if you could do a review on the emerald sump you purchased a while back. I am thinking about getting one and was curious if they are worth the cost or if I should build my own. Thanks
I'm gonna cave and get those scissors. They always look so nice to use
I agree .
Great video just getting interested in plants and substrate used What substrate are you using and do you add fertiliser stocks in it .
.
Corvis..no interest in big colorful Sword plants? Or the translucent Nuphar japonica..great for the 240.
Stem plants are not forever it seems. You can't just prune them back and like any land hedge they regrow denser. Stem's sometimes just give up after a big pruning. Maybe pinch more often?
Knowing me,I would have just yanked the whole plant out of the aquarium..then cut into shorter pieces with plain scissors. That was a little different method you used....
The red plant trimmings, if you plant them, will they propagate in water?
How many bubbles per second do you run on your co2?
I want to try to just float that plant, I think it would stay red?
4:04 background left hand side green plant , what are those plant ? Are they hard plant?
What kind of rocks are these you got in your tank?
So my stems have alot of aerial roots, you said to cut just below that root? Why do the aerial roots show up?
Does this Rotala tend to grow more vertical than indica/rotundafolia? Because mine sends off so many runners and stays at like 6-7”inches tall and just gets bushier
Hey. Random question. I’m looking into CO2 regulators. Any suggestions on brands? I keep hearing Do not go cheap.
Also, why do u always uproot ur plants when trimming them ? Doesnt it make the plant readapting as the root been kind of reset? Sry noobie here haha
