That's an interesting idea. PRS, the Precision Rifle Series, does have a semi-auto class for their rimfire matches so I don't see why NRL22 couldn't also have such a class. While there would be a lot of competitors that would bring their 10/22 rifles, I could see it quickly becoming a gear race with KIDD and Volquartsen builds. That being said, there's nothing restricting semi-auto rifles from participating. There is just the added safety element of engaging the safety and audibly saying "safe" while moving/changing positions whereas the bolt guns must have their bolt back and action open.

Yes, this match is at Ben Avery. If you have mobility issues there is an adaptive class where you can do an alternate stage description that involves less movement. Also there are two ARA (American Rimfire Association) Benchrest matches. One at Ben Avery (usually the 2nd Saturday of the month) and one at Rio Salado Sportsman's Club (usually the 3rd Wednesday of the month).
