Regarding Pocketcat, as a Scandinavian, my first thought went to an infamous criminal In Norway. There was a several years long search for a criminal who was nicknamed "Lommemannen" ("Pocket Man" in English). He would approach boys age 6-12 and ask them to reach into his pocket which was cut open so they would touch something you can probably imagine. On surveillance footage of the man, he could be seen moving his hand in his pocket as he approached and talked to his victims.

About the utero. Valtiel has some very disturbing connotations behind that particular enemy. Firstly theyre partly biological partly mechanical being. It is said that valtiel would use them for...things in his chamber. If you have nas'rah he will have some choice words for valitiel. I'll just say he has a particular affinity for little people because youtube will flag my comment. The implications are clear valtiel also used the embryos

I don't know if the new gods make the same implications as nas'rah (he will spit on valtiel and call him a p3do) I'll have to check that out
Edit: so I checked the wiki and yeah it's the new gods that spell out the purpose of the Uterus. They flat out say that every of valtiels creations had a purpose and this is theirs. I don't know exactly if the implications are that the embryo are his children or part of the creation in the first place since the Nas'rah scene I mentioned implies something different

this might be a reach, but the name "pocketcat" and him being mentioned fiddling with his pockets, reminds me of the finnish slang term "taskubiljardi" (lit. pocket billiard), which is slang for playing with ones genitals through the pocket of your pants.

In Mexico something similar but it is more direct, if you do that thing of putting your hand in your pockets a lot they directly tell you if you are playing pocket billiards (Aka masturbating)
In southern/hispanic America, I used to always keep my hands in my pockets bc edgy, and had multiple Tios constantly ask me I was playing “pocket pool” which has always been my favorite way of saying it, bc it doubles as “pocket pull” lol

The Harvestman is called the Harvestman in reference to the spiders also known as Daddy Long Legs.
Daddy long legs and harvest men are actually diffrent bugs. A daddy long legs is a spider. Being able to spin webs, eating captured prey, and having 2 body sections.
A harvest man is a type of scavenger, like a pill bug. They can't spin webs, and only have 1 body section and don't hunt. They often huddle up in groups for warmth.

Both the harvestmen, and the cellar spider that you're referring to are called Daddy Long-legs, and Daddy Long-Legs can be used to refer to either based on your local dialect.

I dont know if i will ever play this game myself but this video is awesome. Also having smart working people like yourself playing games is pretty awesome. Growing up the only people who played dnd or video games were... Well we were called mean names. So its always cool to see more diverse groups of people playing this stuff.

I stand on the shoulder of giants, when it comes to beating this game, it really helps that the community has put together so much in the wiki and subreddit. And besides, i had a ton of fun with Termina, I almost dare say it's the game I enjoyed the most this year. It also helps that I feel into it right as I had the freetime.
It is great seeing the evolution of nerdy games. I remember how at one point DnD was something looked down up, I'm happy that's changed

The 4th phase of the God of fear and hunger is my favorite monster design in the game. I call it "GOFAH-zilla". This is the last and biggest form that still has Girl in any capacity (unlike the final form). The absolute unit of our little companion throughout the game.
For those Silent Hill-savy, she kinda looks like a cross between "God" from SH3 and Asphyxia from Homecoming. It's awesome.
I loved the entire design, but I can def see why you like the 4th version. I like the neame GOFAH-zilla, makes me visualize a fight vs Godzilla.
Fear and Hunger does draw a good bit from Silent Hill (nothing wrong with that), my favorite throwback is seeing Crow Mauler staring at you through the bars when he's first introduced

The concept of an enemy in a game mol3sting you is…well wrong and in so many levels, but it’s also interesting. Adds a layer of dread that I don’t think I’ve seen…in a non pornographic game 🙃

Any 2 of the humans (besides the girl obviously) can become a marriage, and as long as you're not a abominable marriage (marriage of 3 people), you can.
The penance armor is a great reference to guts's berserker armor !

See, this just makes me wonder about the world in that game; does the flesh-union ONLY happen if a couple gets it on in the ritual circle? Or does that happen normally as well, but the ritual circle just guarantees the god is watching? Because my thoughts are, if the flesh-merge always happens even outside the ritual circle, then that means people aren't reproducing in that world. Which means there's either another way for humans to be born, or there's a declining number of humans because...well, with each 'Marriage', they whittle the population down by one.
If it only happens in that kind of ritual circle, then that's fine; everywhere else is just people pairing up. They aren't turning into gestalts.
The idea of a dwindling human population due to marriages sounds like a fascinating scenario. But per the lore, I think the act has to occur in the ritual circle.
Here's an interesting thought experiment, how would the self love option from the 2nd game factor in?
It's only in the circle and it is between two parties. Never once does it mention being consensual, just an act of love
It has to happen in a ritual circle; both cahara and his wife have both sold their body, the bunny masks aren't marriages, and Darce saying it's her first time when you make a marriage implies you can do so multiple times without becoming a marriage.

Unless it’s Fromsoft doing it I think despite these games showing you.. a lot. The crudeness you can get away with 2D art that can’t show everything in huge detail leave your mind to fill in the rest can be even more horrifying.

Dude. I just remembered a thing from this game that should be on this list. It's a summon you get, I think is called the dark child. It's a spell that makes the pc do the nasty on an enemy corpse and the corpse will give birth a child.....yeah
You carry the child around till it's old enough to walk. It then becomes a party member.
As for its uses it can learn powerful spells
And yes you can sell it to pocket cat....
Only once though. For the player I saw do this he tried to sell another child he summoned after selling the first but pocket cat didn't react....
