I'm looking at the exact same model and paint scheme! You can get em cheap nowadays! Sweet looking cruiser!

I just got mine last week. It’s a 2001 with 31k miles on it. Pretty good bike. Thinking about changing my stock handle bar for a drag bar

They seem like a timeless bike not dated to me. I had a 750 Intruder years ago and this bike ran for about 20 years in production. Yea I love it. Just put Atlas throttle lock on it.

Congrats on the new bike. Last year you did a post on the "new" 1700 Vulcan. It was looking good, Do you still have it or the Suzuki a replacement?

Because of what happened to me the problem with my nerves in my legs caused by diabetes I have lots mussel mass and weight I am down to 165 lbs never been that since high school. I could no longer hold up a 900 lbs of top heavy bike. I had to go down in weight by allot in bike. I miss the Vulcan after the rebuild it was beautiful just awesome one of a kind. I like the lighter weight it is allot different riding it now for sure. My days because of what I have for long trips are done. I am still on two wheels I am lucky so lucky.

@@konto1313 Sad to hear about about your medical problems but happy to see you're still out there riding. I was out of riding since 1983. Last year I struck the notion to ride again. I started out with a 2009 Yamaha Royal Star Venture. The heaviest bike I ever owned or rode.I dropped it 3 times before I got the hang of it (stopped, not moving). I'm 76 but still strong enough to lift it.
