The Countess was the perfect role...And Gaga took it to another level...She totally deserved winning the golden globe
ehh I feel like any actor could've played that character !
I feel she had an advantage because other then the killing part, contess is very much like gaga. They share a lot of eccentrics and interest. I find it good but I don't find it as good compare to Evans portrayal as James March because he put himself in a character that he has nothing in common.

+Dom Arc I meant the eccentrics ways and interest in a way. I'm not saying she's shady but she does carry the same taste in clothes and how they both want to carry themselves and the shady part a lot of the themes of love, sex and betrayal. In my personal opinion she did had more advantage in this role compare to that of Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and that guy who played Liz Taylor

So which 1 come first? It depends on individuals.

I just had to stop and add to your comments. I have been an AHS fan since the first one and I'm sure I will be til the shows end. But I just have to stop and say how brilliant the producers and directors (etc) are in choosing the cast really did their jobs well. In AHS:Hotel, I'm finding myself finding myself thinking EVERYONE wickedly hot, then remembering they were killed two episodes back. The characters are played so well by these actors I find myself being just enveloped in the story line, and if a friend has missed it, I don't go on by; "Well, Kathy Bates......" I'm right in there saying "Iris got so mad!" So glad to run by some other die hard fans too. See you around for the next AHS, which is to air air this October, sans Lange,,,

1) Asylum. Simplesmente genial e primorosa, angustiante e com histórias incríveis.
2) Freak Show. Sem palavras. Um show de boas histórias e bons personagens.
3) Hotel. Histórias fortes e situações que prendem. Pensei que serias péssima mas me surpreendi MUITO.
4) Murder House. Profunda e gostosa de assistir. Incrível.
5) Roanoke. Ou você ama, ou odeia. Sem histórias profundas, mas mantém um certo ritmo instigante.
6) Coven. A trama do racismo me viciou demais, juro. Mas só isso. O resto não prende.

I don't care what y'all say but hotel was my favourite.I loved the vibe this season created.I loved the countess as a character,she has such an interesting personality and Gaga was the perfect cast for this role.And this season captured the sadness, bitterness and loneliness of eternal life perfectly.How the countess tries to feel just something through sex and lust after 100 years of living, and how she is so emotionless because she lost the love of her life and because she feels the emptiness inside of her is portrayed perfectly.I just love the mistery of it all, vampires and immortal creatures always have fascinated me so this person is as perfect as it can get for me.I was fully captured by this season and felt like I truly understood the countess and her actions, I loved every character and every single episode.Love it.
oh, and I fucking loved the mix between the 80s vibe and the modern elements for example the bedroom of the countess or the children's 'blood chamber' (idk how to describe it better).The hotel Cortez is like an ageless place, it breathes and has a life of it's own.Like when you enter it's ground you are escaping reality, real life.That's how watching this season felt.Like an escape from reality and entering a new world where you could be anything and do anything.To be fucking honest I would love to be one of those immortal creatures, leave my miserable life and just spend there all eternity and don't give a shit about anything.

Hotel is not a Horror Story, it is a Romantic Story with monsters!! Yet, is a beautiful story, a lot of people says that this was the worst season, but for me, it was the first I saw, an I still love it even I have already seen the other seasons
It was the first season I properly watched too. After, I watched Asylum, then the other three in order and Hotel is still my favorite. Objectively, Asylum is probably the best season, but Hotel is still my favorite ^_^

The heroes - fearless protagonists, they know exactly how to handle their situation and benefit those in need. Perfect characters, perfect mother-fucking season!
