I was in Worpswede last year where the Oysties played this. So much happened since which made this song even more depressing. Nevertheless, there is always such beauty in Oysterband songs that we are all encouraged to find hope again. If there are still tones, creative power and elegance like this, perhaps all is not yet lost.
Sorry to be the odd one out but this is lacking something for me. Love the sentiment but where is the passion of the Oyster band? You sound weary to me. But hey everyone else likes it’s probably just me😀.

Fine song, great message. I would have liked a longer instrumental break before last verse or refrain but keeping that poignant abrupt ending.
