I’ll definitely be rewatching this demo a few times. So well explained and executed. Thanks!
Thanks 😊
Wow! That was mesmerising to watch. Thank you! enjoyed every minute
Glad you enjoyed it!
This short videos was very educational. Thank you, Robert. In addition to making the effective light in the sky, I especially liked your method of making the reflections in the water, and the purposeful dropping of water to make the beautiful blooms on the dark trees on the left. Just beautiful!
Thanks 😊
Inspiring. I love watching your brush strokes, the light and depth of color are your pigments. Thank you.
Thank you so much!
To paint like this and know what the water is going to create is absolutely fascinating. Thank you so much and I am so impressed with your knowledge and talent!
Thank you so much 😀
I like your explanations. Glad I found you today.
Welcome! Thanks for watching.
thankyou for your teaching methods. This was really helpful!!!
Glad it was helpful!
Wow you make it look so easy??? It's hard for me to see the painting finished before I paint. I think I lack the vision?? Love your painting and how you paint 🎨. Thank you 😊.
Yes, it is not easy to see the finished painting. A thumbnail sketch can help. Good luck with your watercolours.
Your sky is amazing. Looks like random brush strokes. But wait for it. It comes together like magic. Your an inspiration
Thank you so much 😀
Delicious
You make it so easy
I enjoyed this moment

Thank you! 😃
It is amazing and simple to paint - so it looks at first - however you have a great talent ,knowledge of colours and what the water can create . Just watching you paint is educational and beautiful. Thank you . Now I might try to follow you paint in this video and see what comes on paper when I do it. Hope it will not be to frustrating but it is worth trying . Will have to watch this video multiple times for sure. Again thank you. 0:14
Thank you for watching and good luck with your painting 👍
Really nice
Thanks 😊
Incredible!
Thanks 😊
Love it, the simplicity of it.
Often simple wins!
Exactly what I needed. Thanks so much!
You're welcome!
So beautiful. I have to confess it would be challenging for me to do all that you did all in one go. Hard for me as a viewer to determine how fast your paper is drying vs still damp and how that allows you to keep adding more details such as the bg, trees and reflections. Lovely end result.
Thanks for watching and good luck with your watercolours 😀
Great instruction, and wonderful skills! Thank you!
You're very welcome!
That's stunning, bravo. 👏
Thanks 😊
Love this , thank you 🖼️
You’re welcome 😊
I love the quick but impactful bits of information that really help me to remember tips.
Glad it was helpful!
It’s very interesting to see how random it all looks when you don’t draw anything before painting. Nothing is random though.
Thanks for watching.
I love your videos, you're one of my favorite artists!
That's very kind. Thank you.
You've got a lot packed into one short, real-time video. Outstanding. Thanks.

Good luck 👍
All the questions I've had about watercolour...you answer as you're painting 😊. And saying the simple things that are so important that I've overlooked...thank you so much. Beautiful painting☀️full of light.

Incredible tutorial.
Glad you liked it. Thanks 😊
I just found your channel and I loved how effortlessly you painted that scene. I work in watercolor and that's probably my biggest struggle is not overdoing what I'm trying to make simple.
Welcome! Good luck with your watercolours.
C' est joli l' aquarelle !
Merci 😀
Thank you for your tutorial. Would love to try out. Very interesting.❤

You said “let it paint itself” and that is so cool. I’m glad I found you. My interest in watercolour has intensified over the last few days. Xx

Well done brotherman!

I have found a new WC artist to study that will advance my art! Robert Mee. Hello from Colorado, USA.
Glad to have you on board 👍
you make it seem so effortless :)
Thanks for watching 😀
I must admit, when I saw the thumbnail, I thought the section on the left was light shining through a splashing wave. Would be a great light painting for next time. Love this though. So stunning & the most gorgeous purples & oranges! Excellent instructions too. Thank you 😊 New sub from a first time video
So many possibilities 😀
Это восхитительно!❤
Thanks 😊
Very nice
Thanks for watching.
that was amazing, i'm goinging to have to slow it down and try. I did notknow that was where you werer going with it.
Good luck 👍
Yes, Magic..
Thank you 😊
👍🏻
Thanks 😊
If I follow your brush strokes and use similar colors, mine would turn out to be a murky mess. The more I practice the more I admire watercolorists like you who can master this medium. I am so used to see everything 3D but to paint well the visual is 2D of light and shadow. Watercolor is more difficult because of the translucency and layering.
Yes, watercolour is a challenge. However with plenty of practice you will get there 😀
Can i ask if you have cut some of the well partitions in your Liz Deakin palette to accommodate some of your more utilised colours ( ochre, ultramarine etc)?
Yes, I found them a bit small. So for the colours I use a lot I cut out the divider. Here is a video about the palettes I use.

I’ve just started to paint
This was so great to watch
The way it seemed to come from nothing
You make it look so easy !
But many years of expertise
The finish ! the colours ! 💜🧡🤎
