Paloma Arrives!-Mesquite Ranch Adventures

What drama could possibly be associated with the arrival of a new mare (female horse) to a two-horse herd of geldings (castrated male horses)? Well, here's a peek at the excitement that ensued from our new girl's arrival!
Paloma is an 18 year old grade Quarter Horse mare. She's here for training. Her color is flea-bitten gray, which basically means she has reddish-brown freckles on a gray coat--no fleas involved!
You'll recognize Sarah, and you'll see our parents. Some friends of ours were also at our house when Paloma arrived, so they got to see the whole thing unfold and even helped out a bit. It was fun, chaotic, and awesome!
