The EMN Educational Seminar on Migration is a unique learning platform about migration organised in Slovakia which for three days fosters networking, experience sharing and discussions among (inter)national experts and participants.
The 8th EMN Educational Seminar on Migration entitled “Migration in a Multilateral World“ took place from 24th to 26th August 2021 (www.emnseminar.sk).
Main topics of the 2021 seminar:
• Multilateralism and the United Nations
• Labour migration and development nexus
• Legal migration pathways and the concept of waitinghood
• Slovak migration policies
Since 2012, the Seminar is organised by the International Organization for Migration Slovakia as the coordinator of the Slovak EMN National Contact Point.
The EMN Slovakia activities are funded by the European Union - the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund and co-funded by the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic.
