- Here's my budget garden makeover which we completed in 24 hours and spent less than £100! We dug up the existing gravel garden and laid turf, planted some new plants, painted the garage and tidied the paving. We eventually want to replace the fence panels and paving but in the first instance we just wanted to get some grass laid this year and maybe we'll do the remaining garden renovation next year.

Excellent job just about start my garden renovation.
Turf or grass seed not sure best option
Thank you! 😃 I guess it depends on how much you have to do and whether you can wait a few weeks for the grass seed to grow. Turfing was so easy! We were complete novices (as you can probably tell 🤣) and it turned out great!

This is great well done! Exactly what we want to do to our garden, we currently have stones (every neighbourhood cat litter box basically) so we want to lay turf as we have a cavapoo puppy joining our family soon! Thanks for the video it’s really helped! 😊 ps: Nala is the cutest 🥰

Why not paint the fence in a dark Colour?

😂 why dont you move the tonne bag closer saves walking back an fourth an rake the gravel into a pile
We knew we’d need to keep the bags for a while once they were filled until we could get someone to take them away and knew we wouldn’t be able to move them once we’d started filling them, so this seemed the best option! It was actually easier than it looked 😃 and we did try raking it but the stones were quite small so it didn’t really do anything 😂 thanks for watching!
