  • This is a 1970 Nylint Pick Up Truck restoration. I used candy powder coating for the first time - it came out nice and I think I will try this candy coating again. I hope you enjoy this video and thank you for watching.

    That truck looks alot better blue instead of green & without the decals that makes the truck look even better

    Great job as usual I have one of these Trucks it reminds me of my old Dodge power wagon. Definitely has lines of a dodge back in the 70s.

    In about 1977, my Father owned a pickup truck that was almost identical to this -- the same shade of green on the body and the extra sidewise facing seats in the cab. The biggest difference was the decal on the sides; his had signs for his business.
    ETA: The metallic blue colour looks great too.

    What an amazing job. Really impressed with the detail. The colour really does pop. Shame you could not match the stickers and text on the car. Still a fantastic job.

    This has become a magnlficent restoration. The chrome layer as base coat,beautiful.

    I just bought a Nylint dump truck with a spring loaded lift activated by a small handle. The cabin is a single person cabin
    I will start disassembly soon, but I need at last 2 preferably 4 good wheels/tires Any suggestion on where to go to find them ? Thanks

      Hi - that is very likely - some true collectors are keeping these toys as authentic as possible. I have appreciation for that as well but love to restore things, it is just a matter of perception:)

    That truck would get stuck in the mud bcause it doesn't have any tread on the tires,I'd find some tires with tread on them & put them on instead

    What was the tool you used to reattach a the bumpers and bed? Just bought a little Nylint 1976 C10 and wanna try to restore it. It’ll be my 1st restoration
