Another beautiful piece!! Your work has encouraged me to do more with clay. I haven’t watched one of your videos that hasn’t taught me something new. I also love going to your Amazon and ordering things I didn’t have 🤦🏼‍♀️.
There’s always a “Karen” in the bunch, it never ceases to amaze me how some people just can’t keep things to themselves, it’s usually called jealousy. I can’t wait to try this!

Please ignore negative comments because they are usually someone who is just critical and doesn’t appreciate your skill lovely tutorial thanks, personally not my colour scheme in this one but I can appreciate its beauty and the skill anyway.. ps a tip from card making if you did your glitter stage inside in a 1l ice cream tub it would be more contained and less likely to end up all over you can just stick the lid on after and store the glitter in the box also

I love all your tutorials, but I always take something away from every tutorial I watch, I find if I can't be in control of the outcome I stress out, but this is free and beautiful, I'd have no issues just playing around, it reminds me of the tie-dye/hyper colour era and then the sparkle just finished it so nicely, I'd love to see more of this if you do a bit of it, make it as long as you like, if people don't want to watch it then tough... I will, how do you learn otherwise... Anyhoo... Love your art... 👌🙌❤️💐

Hi Deb, re the negative comments, I think I know who that might be! Don’t be concerned about her because you are not the only one she adversely comments on the projects being demonstrated!
This is the first video of yours I’ve seen and I have to say what a gorgeously fabulous idea!!! I very rarely drink wine at home but as you comment you sell a lot of these, I have plunger moulds of leaves, flowers and butterflies, and a supply of alcohol inks, which I’ll be able to use when I embellish a glass!, hopefully it comes out reasonably good.
Well done on a great project. Stay safe. Hugs from South 🇦🇺

Thanks, but I doubt you know who is making the comments…they come from different people, not just one person, although I have had a few nasty comments from people with new CZcams accounts, and I know who was doing that. The other comments are just from people who don’t have anything nice or constructive to say. Poor little mites 😂
My decorative wine glasses aren’t for drinking from, I use them as candle holders.

However, I don't have patience with some things that are fiddly, and may end up throwing it, ha, ha!!! These are so pretty, thank you for sharing your talent with us. You have such a lovely, soothing voice. I bet it'd be great too, to use leather-look clay and maybe Steam punk embellishments? Though of course, you'd need to be careful with cogs and wheels. Thanks Deb. Take care. x

I do not think they are too long and I love your voice. 🥰I know from experience that some of the people who make negative comments simply do so because they are jealous. How much fun can you have! This is lovely and it would have been so fun to see your tea light lit inside a somewhat darkened room, no? (And I’m not at all telling you what to do, that bit was about my fun)!
But wasn’t this entire video just that? Great fun and so very pretty. I just love it.
It does sort of gall one to hear you’ve done your own creation wrong. I can’t get into the minds of others else I’d be like them some how - maybe negativity rubs off on one!
I couldn’t believe you got such a smooth finish on that first layer! How long did it take you? You know you have a real knack for showing us what’s necessary without ever being tiresome. I’ve seen videos of people filming every step from unpacking clay to rolling out every thickness and on and on. But now I don’t venture much outside of my favorite artists, so unless I decide something looks very cool I will check out the occasional new artist with hope.
You artists that I do watch will alert me to new techniques, projects, and tools so I have no worries.
But this wine glass of yours was something I’ve never seen. I wouldn’t miss a second of it. Well, I did laugh at the minwax spill. Only because I only thought I had those types of mishaps! I studied it as I wondered how I’d go about cleaning that up. Believe me I would have saved that glitter! I’m ocd like that.
This was a huge treat - thank you so much. Your glass is so wonderfully dimensional. And I love, love, love the colors. I will try this. Thanks much, again!

    • @clayboutique

      Thank you!
It is fun, but time consuming! I think that’s why I was reluctant to do a tutorial - I really have to be in the right frame of mind to do them!
I don’t understand the negative people. I guess they just have nothing of value to to say, but feel they MUST say something. 🤷‍♀️
It took me about another ten minutes to get the clay smooth.
Thanks! I’m conscious of going on for too long, so I’m glad you feel I get that right!
Oh, I couldn’t believe I spilled the Minwax! I didn’t even notice it was pouring out, at first😂
The glitter wasn’t spoiled in any way, so it was put back in its container.
Thanks for your kind words, Perses 💕
