- The name 'Nottingham' comes from 'Snottingham', meaning 'the home of Snot' - Snot being the name of a chief who settled his people here. The 'Sn' sound was dropped sometime after the Norman Conquest, because the sound was not part of the conquerors' language.
The names in the credits are various people associated with Nottingham, from the first owner of Nottingham Castle to the members of London Grammar.
In this never-to-be-made series, President Underwood would be re-imagined as a ruthless Nottingham city councillor, who will stop at nothing until Nottingham's public transport system has been completely transformed.

Thankyou! Bendigo was on the longer list of names I assembled when planning the video, but obviously didn't make it to the final cut. He should hopefully feature in a future video though!

I was told as a youngster that my family on my mums side is related to William Thompson. I never gave it another thought but reading this has brought that comment back to mind so I'm gonna do a bit of research...Thanks

Thankyou so much! I actually used a stationary tripod for all the shots and added the motion in afterwards, in Premiere Pro.
