It's very pretty, but it's not a tutorial. No tips, no info on brushes or paints. How do I prep the nail? How long to wait between layers? Sorry but it's not helpful.

Hi Jennifer - yes, you will need to ensure each layer us dry before painting another petal. Once the petal turns matt, you are good to do the next one👌🏻🤍

Hi there, thank you for your comment. I use Sonnet Watercolour Paint and use a Rubber basecoat before applying a topcoat to ensure the design is secure.

When painting with the color, it seems very watery and heavy at times, and then it looks like ots so much thinner, are you drying your brush at certain times to soak up the excess color or does it just dry quickly?

The paint does dry fast, and there is times where I dry my brush to suck up excess water/colour🤍

What did you use to protect the paint? How long it will last thanks
After you have done your nail art, you can apply a rubber topcoat or you could apply a thin coat of builder gel and then do one coat of top coat.

Hi Lili, the palette Im using is from Nevskaya Palitra - Sonnet 24pan. It is not designed especially for nail art, but it works amazing for it🤍

Hi CK, no question is ever a silly question - Im happy to assist. This design is done with watercolour paint and finished off with gloss top coat, but yes you can finish it off with a nail polish top coat as well - I would just recommend you do 2 layers🤍

I would recommend that you apply a matt top coat first and cure before applying your watercolour paint 🤍
Oh you actually used watercolors? I thought you were using alcohol inks. That's a pretty popular trend in nail art. That's crazy how similar the two products work.

How do u keep the top coat from smearing the design? Ty!
Hi there, when the watercolour paint goes matt it means it dried completely. If it smear it means your paint didn't dry properly. Also, if you are sure your paint dried completely and your designs smears,I would recommend that you use more top coat on your brush and use a float painting movement. Hope this helps🤍
How long does it takes to dry?
Anything from 5-20seconds depending on the weather. They usually dry much faster on hot summer days☺️

Hi @@NailsbyAmbie - which brand paint and top coat you using? I will recommend that you apply a thin coat of base coat gel polish or rubber base coat first, cure that and then apply your top coat. 🤞🏻 Trust it will work, but please let me know if you still have this problem.🤍
@@bespoketheschoolofnailart Hi I am using madam glam. I actually figured the problem out. I was doing layer after layer and not letting it dry at all, so the water was repelling my topcoat making it not cure. Thank you for the advice.

Hi Shambhavi , yes you can definitely use it. I recommend Nevskaya Pilitra's Sonnet palette since its high in pigment for best results. Try your out and see how it goes🤍

Yes, you can just wash your brush in clean water since we are using watercolour paint🤍
Can I used the watercolor for paper. Or special nail art watercolor only?
Yes you can - just ensure you use a brand that is highly pigmented, I would recommend Sonnet or ROSA watercolour paint.
