Hello Gaby, my apologies for delayed response. When using gel watercolor I advice to seal with gel base first, cure it and then seal with gel top coat. Each layer should seal the free edge very well. also in case if design goes all the way to the free edge, I advice to remove paint 1-2mm from the free edge. in this way gel will be able to seal the design correctly.
