    John playing his famous "Buzzard Bass" guitar!!! Nice to see!!!! I miss him!!! John is a one of a kind!!!! The Who was never the same without him!!!!🥲 I like how John hits and picks the the strings on his bass with his fingers!!!!

      It’s how he wanted it I think? All he wanted to do was play on stage and let his bass playing be the star.

      that's why he was called "big jonny twinkle" no one ever noticed him, so he wore outlandish outfits covered in sparkly sequins and stones...
      then of course there is the track "the quiet one" which if you ever heard him live you know is a LIE! :) but everyone thought Pete was making the noise when smashing guitars... nope that was John hitting his bass in time with Townshend's shenanigans

    great stuff ! for me JOHN , was the best bass player everand great friend to all ! , but you could say Im biased as we knew john from school days in acton and neighbours , lexden rd / corringway /the same as pete at ,woodgrange avenue , roger , at devonshire road , and we use to jam with john , in maurice placketts music shop , also jim marshalls shop over at uxbridge road ,hanwell MAGIC A GREAT UPLOAD ! . ritchie .wolveshead ward .

      Wow, that's pretty amazing. I saw The Who numerous times and Entwistle was always mind-blowing. Must have been neat to know him back then.

    Nice to see a drummer who's actually learned keiths parts properly ... pity his mix on the kit is so compressed it makes it sound like a cheap electronic drumkit

    I love the guitar player/vocalist but no idea who he is. They're a lot cleaner than The 'Oo though.

    Awesome but the keyboard doesn't belong in there. It's not like the bass player, guitarist or drummer here are going to be missing any notes.

      I agree with you, but the irony is that Mose Allison's version is piano-based. But of course, there were no guys named Moon, Entwistle, Daltrey, or Townshend to accompany him. 🙂

    Decent rendition, but it is robbed of the potency that the Who gave it. The payoff for me has ALWAYS been the unbridled vitriol of "they stepped...BACK!" being repeated a few times. Isle of Wight and Live at Leeds both leave this version standing in the shade, despite a GREAT vocal performance here.

      Sorry, Pete’s Schecter was a step down from his Les Paul. His playing on the Schecter during 82 Tour was thin.
