Had natives been in charge of the land this whole time, imagine how many fewer issues we would have faced overall

Have you lived in a teepee or yurt without electricity or running water, relying on a garden and hunting and fishing to live? I have. Most people would commit suicide before being forced to live that way. Every Native village from the Pima to the Aleut have electricity, heat and permanent hard housing.

If Europeans did not colonise American land sooner or later the Chinese would’ve made sure no natives existed. Be grateful for your life

@@robertmarmaduke9721 Considering you know what those things are, it makes sense you would miss them. If you never had them to begin with because you valued the land, you wouldn't miss them. Also, I'm glad you lived in a teepee or yurt without electricity or running water; it's great to have experiences. However, just because you found it undesirable, doesn't mean contaminating the planet is the better option. Hard work isn't scary & contaminating the planet to create creature comforts, does not equate to intelligence.

@@sierrascottxoxo Blah, blah, blah. You solution means extermination of 8 billion humans, if you want to live in a phantasmagorical "sustainable" relation with 'Mother Earth" as an artisanal lowlands agricultural + alti-plano horse and cattle society, where the landed become Lords and Barons while the landless become serfs, like the 800,000,000 landless and homeless day laborers in India, sleeping on the sidewalks of your poster-child mythical utopia of the Happy Hunza. Just stop! Build an altar of twigs and grasses and burn bugs to Gaia. You solution is suicide.

As part Paiute, I have a legitimate question for other natives to answer.
If We had our land back where would all the other enthnic groups that have 2nd 3rd and even 4th generations living our land go?
Will natives kick them all out even tho they are not white?
45% of our lands has other ehtnic groups living on them, what happens to them? Like California there's more minorities living there than any other state, do we kick them all out?

We will continue to destroy the earth because people want to sit on their butts and drive everywhere, have a cozy warm home and live on a cozy bed, live like kings and queens. Time for a reality check. Life is supposed to be hard, life is supposed to suck. So that we don't overindulge and create waste.

Black people are people of the sun. Gods chosen people. They walked the planet before anyone and willbe well and alive before anyone else. Whites are declining and disappearing from this planet and won’t recover so colonizations killed trillions and even the planet but before this planet, all whites will be wiped out. They caused it on themselves and no one else to blame.

This is stupid. The way to preserve is by making a balance decision on conservation and reservation, advocating for thorough byproducts manipulation research making sure that they were turned into something safer to the environment. “Get out of the way, and let native people do their things” is not a profitable course to do things. This shouldn’t be JUST a native thing, ALL of us can and should. We share planets and lands, don’t we?

JP thanks very well said, the problem is the youth, and I've been to band meetings within my province. The Elders discussing how to keep the youth from leaving, and the gang issue. Youth are depressed, suicide, addiction are issues. And simply they're just bored, so they leave and lots become homeless, and get involved in crime. The bands demand money, so that they can develop their communities, as a means to keep future generations. And now they want to develop Urban reserves, as they know the reserves will one day come to pass.
