Recently jsut finished building my 2018 chevy Silverado 5.3 it has a 3.0L supercharger fully built internals stage 3 tune and I did a weight reduction the truck is sitting at 4000 lbs (single cab) things a demon on the track and on the road 0-60 in 4.4 seconds you just gotta love fast trucks not something you see often but when it’s done right it’s one of the best things to witness a big bulky slab of metal meant for towing zooming passed you
I’m surprised that guys didn’t mention the 70 El Camino SS 454, 90-93 Silverado SS 454, or the 03-06 Chevy Silverado SS

@@jacobasuncion3132 no hate but, that's something I've always wondered. I put it in the class with the Subaru Brat. Not quite a car, not quite a truck, many don't consider it a true SUV. That's why I put it in the category of "what the hell is it?"

Ram missed a huge opportunity with a little red express nameplate. They could have stuck a hellcat in modern-day regular ram without making it and brought back with a red express name I honestly think it would sold
TRX, SRT10 or Raptor R for me!
All are winners, and it is so rewarding to see such a display of muscle trucks! They are amazingly quick!
I'd take the Ram SRT-10 Quad Cab
As always the forgotten truck from a pre-SRT10 Ram era and was way more a sleeper, was the Dakota RT, the only truck of its size to come with a V8 and handled just as well as a E39 M5 of the era. EVs are a safe bet you take 80% of whatever your racing off the line and out 60-120ft them. Those aren't "sleepers" thanks to everyone giggling about their 2.5sec 0-60 Tesla. Best was the Syclone, but they're now so rare and you had to brake boost the crap out of it.

Oh, the older pickups are what love, F-150 SVT Lightning Syclone,and 1500 SRT. But the Lightning is my favorite, but also because my grandpa has one. A 1999 Lightning that’s black with white wheels. Love it and will miss it because I cant drive unfortunately because of eyesight issues. But still, I love quick little pickup trucks.
Seems the Raptors/F-150’s really have this top 10 list owned.
While it’s not super car fast, my second gen lightning is still my favorite vehicle I’ve owned up to this point. It’s just so hard not to giggle like a child when you floor it and the supercharger just puts you back in your seat.
My ideal street truck... money no issue.. Single cab short bed new gmc pickup with the new c8 z06 swap & a couple spinny boys bolted on!!🤘😎🤘

My favorite trucks {the ones I have owned} are the '78 Dodge Lil Red Express, '90 Chevy 454SS & '98 Dodge Dakota R/T
yeah i built a 2000 Pontiac grand prix gt from ground up with a LSX swap making it RWD tube front to back for 22,750.00 and it was a daily and did 8's in the quarter 4 door family car.

Don’t forget to add .3 to .4 sec to all these numbers for your real 0-60 because the publications all subtract roll-out. So what they’re posting is 6mph to 60mph, a very different number. Also, several of these manufacturers use a prepared track and tires, which you are not likely to experience during the entire ownership of the vehicle.

I had a hard time recently deciding to buy a 1990's Bronco or a Supercharged Lightning.. SO I settled for building a N/A 5.8 to about 350 hp and slapped a S/C on a 1991 Bronco....best decision I ever made

Friend of mine recently got a ram srt 10 and he prepping it to be a racer. He's going to basically copy some of the viper build people have done, he's planning at least 1500 to 1600 hp from the stock 400

As a TRX owner I just LOVE my TRX JMHO, Raptor R is late to the game and ALOT more $$$$
I saw so many lightnings as a kid and thought they where stupid. Now as an adult , i regret those opinions knowing the power they have . I still want a tycoon or syclone

700 hp would be my choice, though, at local dealership in Los Angeles California. Had one for $260,000
Along with the lowered Race Track ready Shelby Super Snake 750 hp for $142,000
With current financial situation I could only afford if I didn't have payments on my 2022 Roush Mustang, the 2022 Roush F150 lifted not quite the Raptor R tires, size and the wide stance. Still off road setup for $94,000, in 7 years I may go there. 👦👍🏎🏁🚩

What’s to love about a raptor the price tag or the fact that most never use all there horsepower
GREAT VIDEO, and detail, I LOVE trucks!!! I unfortunately, also hate the use for them. Literally not practical in cities where most folks live. Don't need them in 95% of our daily use, they don't stop or handle like sedan class vehicles, they're just hella dangerous to control when you have dumb folks in the cities. And when they flip, because you have a higher chance to flip in them, you have a higher chance of the cab crushing you and you dying. Literally I just found out statically, folks driving trucks, cause the MOST accidents, kill the most animals, and have a higher chance of dying in a lower speed collesion/roll-over. It's a trip, I never knew this shit before. So that said, I'll stick to 2800lb and lighter vehicles. And My pop has a farm, ill rent his from him if needed in the city for a job.

I know it is not one of the faster trucks but what about the older Ram R/T? Wouldn't that be sort of considered a sleeperish truck? I have a 2012 Ram R/T and it is pretty quick for a pickup truck all things considering, definitely no slouch at almost 400hp in a single cab.

Hummer EV SUV is the best one. The Ford Raptor would be way cooler if it was 2 Door extended cab and NOT a 4 door. 4 door trucks are anything but cool.

I liked all the 'ICE' powered trucks, but the Raptor R wins for me. The EV trucks, or any EV vehicle, I give no credit to. Because it's an apples to oranges comparison. EV electric motors are simple, soulless 'easy way' torque and horsepower. Were as the ICE powered trucks take real engineering and know how, and have a sound, a feel, a 'soul' no EV can ever match.
How Is a raptor or trx a sleeper!!??? Or most of these honestly...
