- Eventuri Intakes are probably one of the best sounding intakes for the F8x platform. I've always wanted to get a pair but I didn't want to dish out $2,600 on a new set. I was fortunate to get a pair used in excellent condition. In this video, I uninstall my Dinan Carbon Fiber Intakes and swap them out for Eventuri V2 Intakes.

The specs for this setup is :
Front : 20 X 9 ET 15
Rear : 20 X 10 ET 20
Tires are Michelin PS4 :
Front : 265-30-20
Rear : 285-30-20
I also ran -2.6 camber in the rear to fit them. These are very aggressive.

Sounds great. I really want to find a set for a crazy deal down the line. For now I might take over my buddie’s Injen intakes. The quality isn’t in the same league, but they sound insane. How do the Eventuri’s compare to other intakes you’ve heard on the s55? Particularly the titanium rktunes. Are the Eventuri’s the best sounding & also loudest you’ve heard?
The eventuri Intakes sound absolutely insane. The only other intake that provides that type of enjoyment is MSR intakes that go in the grill. The only downside about the MSR intakes is the potential...POTENTIAL of hydrolock (When water gets sucked into the intake then onto the engine). Its rare but it can happen. I'd keep my eye out on the BMW Forums since a lot of people are switching platforms since their lease is up and ect.
@@TheDailyDriven MSR intakes are exactly what I thought would compete as I think highly of them from reading some comments & posts about them over time. I wasn’t too fond of front mount intakes until I heard of the gain in airflow to power & the recommendation from rktunes. I never even considered that additional possibility of hydrolocking. I lost my stock 435i 2 years ago due to hydrolock, it totaled it. If the intercooler is low enough, it might not make a different in the end. But like you said, there’s some added potential of something happening due to circumstance. Do you know if there’s loss in sound from having intakes placed up front compared to the same ones placed in the bay? Just took delivery of my SMB 6mt f80 yesterday morning & I’m willing to wait to find all the right very tasteful mods.

Yeah they are cause of they made it where it's more enclosed for better performance.

Absolutely love this intake. Its holding up well. If you can find it used on the forums its worth it. Its def. one of most expensive intakes out there for the F8x platform.

I absolutely love it. The audible experience on this is on point. What's the big selling point too is that not only it sounds good, it looks amazing underneath the hood.
yo whats the purpose of intakes? im thinking of getting injen intakes but is it safe to run with stage 2? also i got AA EL midpipe and arm downpipes.
Intakes allow slightly more airflow. A lot of it I'd for sound appealing purposes. It's safe to run on stock map. Stage will be fine.
