    Question for an expert! If you were to place a divider of some sort between the two poles to avoid roots growing into the lower pole from the pole above, would that be detrimental to the roots? Would restricting their ability to grow down naturally give you smaller/weaker roots? Trying to be cheeky (lazy) with my future massive plants thanks to you 😊😂

    • @sydneyplantguy
      @sydneyplantguy  Před 5 měsíci

      I do it once it reached the top, irrespective of the time of the year but it also depends on the conditions you’ve got to offer. It does induce a bit of shock so you don’t want suboptimal conditions to make it worse. If you’re concerned, stick to the same guidelines you’d use for any other repot :)

    • @sydneyplantguy
      @sydneyplantguy  Před 5 měsíci +1

      It going droopy might be a sign that it didn’t have enough roots to support the size of the cutting. Was is thoroughly rooted into the pole before the cut? Your priority now should be establishing a healthy root system so be careful with too much water. If the plant can’t absorb that water due to insufficient roots u might cause rot. Try and provide it the best possible conditions
