Notes from the game. The O Line has to get better. The left side is a problem with Wanya Morris out, because Anton Harrison had to play RT.
Hopefully Wanya gets his shit together, and Anton go go back to LT, and hopefully that will help out LG.
That first play would have been a huge play, if that left side does a better job.
At Center and RG we are good, and Anton is an OK RT, but we need him at LT.
OU ran the ball good. It seemed like the drives they stalled on there during the 2nd quarter, they got away from the run a bit. But, the run game took over game.
DG was good, I want to see what he looks like, when he has good Line play?
But he definitely needs to react quicker, but he threw a few good deep balls.
I think Brayden Willis is going to have a monster season.
And WRs, they we're OK, I think they sorta dialed back Mims after that punt he took the cheap shot on.
He probably would have had over a 100 yds if the Line blocked better on that first play.
Good to see Theo back, and good for Gavin Freeman on the play of game.
Defensively? Need to get more consistent pressure on the QB. To many stretchs where they didn't get any pressure.
But good for Grimes, he's going to have a good year. And I'm really hoping Downs can be close to as good as people have been talking him up.
I thought the LBs did really well. Stutsman is going to be really good.
And the DBs did good with what the plan was?
But most importantly, the Defense tackled well.
