Update for generation 9!
The new steel type Pokemon of gen 9 are:
Tinkaton
Revavroom
Orthworm
Iron Treads
Gholdengo
With an average base stat total of: 511
The new moves are:
Gigaton Hammer, 160 BP physical type move, exclusive to tinkaton, it prevents the user from using it twice in a row
Make It Rain, 120 BP special type move exclusive to gholdengo, it lowers special attack by one stage
Spinout, 100 BP physical type move, exclusive to Revavroom, it lowers speed by two stages
The main competitive threats are:
gholdengo, using make it rain + nasty plot
Orthworm, using earth eater and the new move shed tail (exclusive to Orthworm and Cyclizar)
Thank you

You forgot the specialist.
Also you forgot Kingambit.
Archaludon and Iron Crown in dlc
You forgot the new move Tera blast and transformation terastraligation ( sorry for miss spelling) it allows user to terastralise in any one type which includes steel but Pokemon have sertain Tera type you need to catch one with Tera steel to turn it in steel it gives 50% boost on steel moves so everything Tera steel Pokemon can be considered steel type and Tera blast is a normal type but after terastralizing in steel it becomes steel type move but before it it is normal and Tera fire = Tera blast fire and Tera blast states

I find it funny that Dragon, Fairy and Steel are the three strongest types. If they tweaked Steel's resistance to Dragon we could have another type triangle. So I used to refer to Jasmine as an Electric Type Gym Leader who just for the lulz added a Steelix that was supposed to be massively overleveled. Because back then Pokémon was unfair. After all they allways had me beat in Type Advantage at some point in the game.
