Yuri is the second best dancer in the group. Hyoyeon is the main dancer and known as the dancing queen of the group. She was also named the best dancer of the company while she ws a trainee :)
I know. Because she had danced for many years but yuri is the one who catched my eyes when i saw snsd for the first time and i loved snsd because of her. Also my opinion: main dancer must be pretty or som1 who can attract people while she dance well too. But hyoyon is(im sorry, also just my opinion) ugly. Maybe has a boyish face. Thats why i dont like het as a main dancer.

The thing is that snsd's sings don't really fit yuri or hyo's vocal style or voice type. They have more huskier and soulful voices compared to the cute image snsd has. If they went to things like rnb then yuri and hyo would probes have more lines HYO YUL FIGHTING!!

Rafael Baldini definitely, when she started rapping I was like "Oh my god, shes soooo much like CL but more awesome (and CL is pretty tough to beat, shes was my number 1 Korean female rapper, now 2nd) Soshi should so utilise these girls for their vocals not just their moves.
Well Hyo, Yuri and another member of Soshi (I wanna say Tiffany as she raps well but the again shes in TTS) so possibly Yoona, Sica or Sooyoung could form another sub-unit and go for the hiphop market, they wouldbe great, the ladies have the attitude, the style and they rap wonderfully.
Well TTS have gone for the sexy summery jazzy vibe, this sub-unit could go for the gritty street vibe (igab style but more 2ne1-IATB) would be really awesome as these girls do it well.
SM is really wasting Hyoyeon's rapping abilities. She could be an amazing rapper, her type of voice is perfect for raps. She could be like Erin from Nine Muses but more edgy and way cooler, I don't know.
If only GG songs had more raps... or actual raps, for the matter.

In many of SNSD concerts or SM Town, when they had solo parts, usually Hyoyeon shows her dancing, which is understandable considering she is the "Dancing Queen" afterall, but I think it would be great if she sang hip-hop/rap like this once in a while.
Personally I think hyoyeon fits r&b or dub step type songs. She doesn't fit well with snsd songs but I wouldn't want her to leave the group because she is an important person to snsd and it wouldn't be right without her. This goes for all the other members, they're all important.

I think it's because the type of songs snsd sing focus more on higher pitches and power vocals, if it was some hip-hop/r&B songs Hyo-Yul would kill it, here's hoping this is the next sub-unit!

^^^ True! Seriously, as much as I love SNSD the only true members that ppl name off the bat is Tiffany, Jessica, Taeyeon, Seohyung and Yoona. Everybody else is far and in between. I really wish in the future a Hyo-Yul sub-unit song (and ACTUAL DANCE not the cute little routines), Sunny have a legit solo, and Sooyoung have legit shine too. All these girls have immense talent but you wouldn't know too much because of the same ol routines SM markets them for.
