UK vs US Red Bull | Food Wars | Insider Food
Harry: I don't drink red bull or energy drinks.
Also Harry: unless it is in a Jagerbomb
Solid British representation, I salute you Harry for playing your part 👏
I feel that, and I'm an American. Jager is the only way to make energy drinks drinkable, though it's more dangerous than just drinking an energy drink on its own.😂
Red Bull is my favorite energy drink of all time, but I've tried all the other energy drinks too lol
Try it (Red Bull) with Orange Vodka. Tastes like an Orange Tic Tac
I think this is the only video where I can confidently say I’ve tasted every single thing they’ve taste tested here (I lived in Europe for 6 months and constantly travelled between countries, and everytime I went into a shop I’d check out the redbull flavours to see if there was any one that I haven’t tried). Shame to see that you guys couldn’t get the strawberry kiwi ones though
Have you tasted the açai one? Best One for me
I like the açai had it in Spain. The blueberry is nice.
Pomegranate version is 🔥 🔥 🔥… seasonal tho. Still waiting for it to come back
harry with a stache tho-
I think it suits him 😊
Innit blud

Did his voice get deeper too or am I imagining
Doing things to me
Hey Joe, just so you know, most line cooks in America survive on Red Bulls and discontent. That's their target market-chefs. I personally prefer Reign but that apple fig Red Bull is the best one I've ever had.
i go WEEKS living on the sugar free coconut berry red bulls lmfao. it was funny seeing them just trash all of em. usually my go-to energy drink is ghost though. reign has too much caffeine for me so usually i only have it if ive been up since 6 am or some crap.
I’m not a line worker, at least in the way you’re speaking, but I survive on monster, there’s something about the taste of Red Bull I don’t like.
It’s also popular in IT. Coders and Tech Support live on it.
I read it as "hoe jey"
Never in 12 years of cooking have I ever seen anyone drink Red Bull on the line.
US: we only have these flavours
UK: we have these flavours
Austria: Yes
Also in Germany we have ton of flavours
The smell of it is enough for me. It smells soooo sweet! Never bought one or tasted it, and I don't think I'm missing anything. But I'll still watch this for the little jokes.
they taste like they smell; sugary wee from someone with a bad diet
You're definitely not missing anything. Energy drinks in general tend to raise your blood pressure, which natural caffeine doesn't. In college I used to drink an Amp before lifeguarding practice. They would make us train in the same pool the college swim team used, which was FREEZING. The Amp would get my blood flowing and keep me warm.
@@nahor88 haha, perhaps I should start drinking it because my blood pressure is always low! I'm kidding, I know that's not a good thing.
I can understand why some people like the feeling of being energized and warm. I didn't realize that regular coffee doesn't raise blood pressure too...
Fun fact, one of the regular customers in a video game store I used to manage used to drink 3-5 cans a day until his liver or kidney damage (can’t remember) damaged his sweat glands and he was profoundly stinking all of the time and there was no fix for it. The guy used to clear the store when he came in unfortunately and his other hygiene was fine.
Goodness that's unfortunate
Crazy! I had a former co worker who lives on these and did a weekend study binger and ended up in the hospital with heart palpitations. He said he drank about 3-4 a day... Enough said.
"I can't be a red bull guy, I'm too loyal to Mercedes"
Max Verstappen: "and I took that personally"
And that was what happened at 9:17
The coconut berry is my favourite It's very hard to find though
Nah the coconut and berry is perfection. I miss the Blue edition so much though they had them here in Ireland years ago but discontinued them for some reason. Only Austria ship them out 😢
they discontinued them?! I'm so sorry!! if you ever need your blue edition fix...I'll send you some from Austria!
its standard in germany@@RealAngelOfMusic
I tried red bull for the first time last year in the summer when they were handing them out for free in Brighton whiles we were on holiday to watch the Women's Euros match and that was the apricot one as well as the original, my mother didn't like the apricot one but I thought it was fine although I much preferred the original one 😅
I've been sick for over half of the week, so this is some much needed medicine.
I'm in the UK. Personally I love the tropical flavour. We had the blueberry and cranberry flavours for a while a few years back. The blueberry one was banging
I'm from Germany and seemingly nobody else has the purple Edition (Açai). That one's so good
We also had the cola version a few years back. You could get them at Shell gas stations.
Yeah, I still really miss the blueberry one. The cactus fruit flavour is pretty good, but the blue was probably my favourite energy drink, period.
The UK also does do 473ml for the non sugar version, although they're only available in corner shops
I was absolutely stoked when I realised that the last metal festival I went to was sponsored by this colourful fruit line from red bull and as I couldn't drink during the day because of my medication it was amazing that they sold all flavours at every drink stand. You could also buy them mixed with white wine (I don't know in how many countries mixing wine with sparkling water or lemonade is a thing), it was amazing! Especially because the beer sold at festivals usually sucks.
We also have the Strawberry Apricot Red Bull and it the best one for sure. Tons of sugar but if you must have one, you can avoid the weirdness of the flavors if you get that one for sure
I’m pretty sure we have every single one of those different colored flavors in the US. The names might be slightly different (ex. “Tropical Fruits” is just “Tropical” here), but I’m sure the formula is the same.
Fantastic love every aspect! Looking forward to of hornet squads story. The music was amazing!
I really was actually wanted and expecting this video on Redbull
winter and blue was in uk few months ago as seasonal.
New food wars let’s see those exclusives and harry with the old school p-stash loving it ❤😂❤😂❤😂❤😂
I brewed my coffee with Red Bull. I got half way to work before I realized I forgot my car.
There is a different winter edition in ireland and its pomegranate its so good i love zero and sugar free redbull we had the blueberry one and a different green can and it was apple kiwi which was the best so far and they need to bring that flavour back
Harry, I hate energy drinks too but the watermelon red bull and the dragon fruit red bull are amazing
I saw Harry in Clapham Common sainsburys with a fresh trim on the 21st of February, very nice chap to chat to!
Red Bull Winter is my absolute favorite of the flavor editions they have.
This was an amazing video but damn that is a lot of Red Bull that is a lot of energy. Just be careful. Don't want to go overboard. Also Harry, that mustache though nice 😳
Blueberry used to be available in UK I remember having it as a kid but I only ever found it 2 times in the shop and never sore it again
It existed for a few years along with the red edition (cranberry I believe) and a white edition (some kind of lemon lime flavour). They were the first flavours we got aside from the standard redbull taste. The blue and red ones were absolutely delicious and I'm still sad we don't have them anymore.
Fun Fact: Red Bull actually started in Thailand and is called Krating Daeng. It was introduced in 1976.
Kratingdaeng has stronger taste than red bull
Jesus. The Americans can get a PINT of Red Bull? My heart would be beating like a drum machine for a fortnight.
Quick suggestion you should have a palate cleaner between each drinks maybe nachos or chips
Blue and Peach can be found in Turkey. Also they got almost all flavors from UK ab US
Hey guys I'm from Ireland I love your food wars videos have been watching your videos for at least 2 years now. I love red bull have at least 1 a day
Joe's facial expressions and commentary reduces me to laughter - every single time! 😂
Great video.
It is so true about the flavoured red bulls, they're absolutely terrible. Kinda sad why it wasn't highlighted how expensive red bull is compared to other energy drinks on the market. You can consistently get 500ml versions for £1 or £1.29 whereas red bull often is neared £2 for half the size.
Thats because red bull is engaged in a nuclear war between Afghanistan and iraq
I absolutely love red bull watermelon. It’s the only one I regularly buy during a long day
Red Bull executed the premium price strategy log before Apple did. A big part of their image is the high orice.
I tried the coconut and the watermelon flavoured ones and I really liked them, they're very summery 🙌🏻☀️
the white and green ones slap love those two!
2:17 The winter and summer edition are technically not exclusive to any country but it's seasonal
Joe's personality is definitely explained by a youth of drinking way too much Red Bull.
I wish we had that 473ml tropical redbull in norway, we only get 250ml versions. By far my favorite.
Please do Fanta next.
Good prasantation...nice
My special edition tier list. It taste better chilled and newly produced when the can is clean and undamaged. Ambient conditions may affect the flavors: N°1 passion fruit (gold) N°2 shikuasa (green) N°3 dragon fruit N°4 grosellie (red) N°5 pomegranate (burgundy) N°6 tropical N°7 watermelon N°8 blueberry N°9 cactus fruit N°10 pear plum (dark green) N°11 peach(white) N°12 apricot strawberry
Hi Joe i love food wars and i love ur vids Joe Avella
We did have the blue edition in the uk but it was discontinued 😞.
I don’t drink redbull anymore but when i did, i definitely preferred the sugar free ones. they always tasted better to me
The ”exclusive” US flavours can all be found in sweden and Scandinavia too😃
I used to drink up to 4 energy drinks a day. Usually 2, more if out & about though. I haven’t been able to since December 12, 2016 though. Yup turns out youngish me (was 26 at the time) has a heart condition so no more energy drinks😟I can have small amounts of caffeine, like the highest is like a Mountain Dew maybe. I do miss the energy drinks though!
Absolutely love the redbull white the coconut 🥥 😍
Awesome Video
Would love to see a us vs uk fanta!
Yes!! Food wars and F1, it couldn't be better
Very good video.
Would have loved to see you get a hold of some of the original Thai stuff. 250ml of that stuff doesn’t give you wings - its like being strapped to a rocket!
The got the Winter here in Scotland . Also a summer Version with peaches
I noticed you guys missed several types of red bull. A red bull energy shot (60ml), a red bull energy petfles or sportdrink (330ml). These two I dronk a lot on sporting events sponsored by red bull.
And there are a lot more flavours.
Ahh... I remember the Red Bull energy shots. Back in college, the Red Bull car would always swing by our dorm and give out free samples of those. I used to keep one next to my bed when I had an 8am class. As soon as my alarm went off, I'd take a shot, and it would give me the energy to get out of bed, lol.
This is UK versus US comparison. If you’re in a different place, that may be why you have different options.
@@chanelmindyabusiness4947 Nah, we have the energy shot in the UK
@@chanelmindyabusiness4947 you can't buy them were i life anymore. If I want them I have to buy them in the UK. So therefore i think it should be on this UK vs USA.
literally! or red bull cola!
nice video :)
0:59 no its the same or less ml its just because the glass is a bit more wider then the actual red bull can
Insiders program I loved
Not sure how he didn’t know the flavored ones existed. They’re quite popular and some of the flavors are fantastic. Tropical & Juneberry are the best 👌🏼
USA has an orange can that is strawberry apricot flavor.
Never had one, but drink coffee all day long!
I remember when they did Monster Energy 😂😂😂😂😂😂
14:32 Aww, a discussion on how an ingredient affects rats without the...
14:42 -- SAVED!
The Red Edition pomegranate one is the only one I would actively buy
U missed the U out the of colours in the UK ingredients list
Love the mustache Harry
This is one time where we got so many more RB products here in Austria. None taste good...
The blue one is great, also, its funny how only one of those that is not avalible in Czechia is the peach one. And i kinda want to taste it. 😁 Can someone send some over? 😂
Has anyone else tasted Red Bull in Japan? Red Bull is my favorite energy drink but in Japan tastes so odd i have never been able to enjoy one can.
On the flipside Japan has my favorite Red Bull Blue because it's Japanese grape flavored and it's amazing!
Tasted normal to me. I drank several studying for tests while I was studying abroad there
@@snausages43 Intresting. I was there for 3 months and i tried more than 15 red bull cans there and didn't like any of them and came back to Europe and red bull tasted like it always had tasted back home. (In Europe i have tried red bull in England, Sweden and Germany)
Monster also has a slightly different taste to it that i now miss although it wasn't as good. Because i didn't like red bull there i had more than 40 cans of Monster.
Each country tastes different, but in only Netherlands and Austria, you get the real red bull taste
@@Fiwek23452 Actually Red Bull sold in almost all of Europe is made in the same factories in Austria and Swiss alps, so Sweden and Germany get the same exact profuct as the Netherlands. Only Red Bull in completely other regions tastes different like Red Bull that's sold in the USA that's made in Glendale, Arizona and different regions in Asia have them made in local factories.
@@epicon6 only the recipe is made in Austria, each country uses their own source of water, but only Netherlands and Austria use the highest quality of water in the world, cause i have tasted red bull over 10+ countries and i can taste them each on their own taste,
I hate all the energy drinks, but Red Bull Cola isn‘t Energy. But SO delicious. If you have the chance to try it, do it! It‘s Not like Coke/Pepsi but quite delicious
UK 🇬🇧 also has a sugarfree Orange tin my personal favourite is Tropical & original 👌
In Poland we have almost all flavors except coffee, peach and I'm not so sure about the fruit flavors with zero sugar. I was almost sure that US have more exclusive red bulls.
I feel all called out here.... I have tried them all and I love the watermelon
Apple fig was def my favorite, (it taste like a angry orchard) juneberry is my second, peach is my third!
Why aren't price comparisons in every video?
The only one I quite like is the yellow/tropical flavour, otherwise I stick to Monster Ultra's, I just wish they did them in smaller cans, 500ML is a bit much even if it's sugar free.
Letsgoooo 9:19 massive respect
I had no idea they had different redbulls beside normal and sugar free, I have never seen them in any shop in the UK before.
They're in like every shop mate
there's SO MANY
Blue and winter Edition you can have in germany
The blue blueberry one is available in the UK also
When I did nightshift, everyone was drinking Red Bull, but it smelled like vomit to me. I stuck to tea! I was really surprised it was cheaper here in the UK
harry you are slowly becoming the black barman of Love boat, a '70 TV serie!
We have the Blueberry and Apple-Fig ones in Europe as well :)
Tea for a caffeine hit 😂😂😂 i drink tea to go sleep
coconut berry and the regular on top
Sugar Free vs Zero Sugar has to do with what artificial sugar substitute is used, aspartame, sucralose or ace-k
The purple cans with Acai are the best, I get them at the german supermarket
I love the coconut berry one
Coconut & Berry is the best one!
i agree
If any other energy drinks will be featured in Food Wars I'm hoping Mother Energy will be one of them.
That coffee one would 100% be my fiancé’s kind of thing, he likes those kind of things
The Joe / Ned Flanders colab we all wanted to see
Red Bull in Canada lack sugar free versions of the regular ones and lacks the 591ml can
Blue edition redbull was available in the UK and Spain (and probably other parts of Europe) years ago and was my favourite, I assumed it was discontinued but apparently the US still has it. Why can't I get it here 😭
I found blue edition redbull in nordics/Central Europe where I lived like a month ago - one of my favourites but can’t beat watermelon
@@lilfizlet well you haven't narrowed down the search area much for me but I'll get looking 😆 But seriously, I wish they'd stock them everywhere.
@@CassandraMiddlemiss I lived in Czech Republic, but I think I also saw them in Austria and Germany. I think it was one of the most common flavours I found
We still have them in Austria
Red bull in the uk comes in 4 sizes atleast in my area and theyre the exact same sizes as the us versions..
7:02 ooooo prickly pear flavor give me some of that please
Love the stache.
the uk use to get blue (blueberry i miss it best flavour imo)
