I have spent hours upon hours commenting on various CZcams channels supporting and defending Coach Frost since his arrival. Not since the after the 96 season and before the 97 season have I followed the program this entire off season leading to whatever that team was playing Northwestern. I wanted Coach Frost to be everything he was as a player and coach leading up to his hire in Lincoln. After this past Saturdays loss, I turned to my dear bride of 591145 years and told her that even I cannot defend losing to Georgia Southern. I won't even get into the fact that Chinander is still representing and wearing Blackshirt insignias....it's a disgrace. The defense is ranked 124 out of 131 teams giving up 500 yards a game to the likes 9f our three opponents this year. I have been extremely impressed by Coach Joseph....he was a hell of a player himself. I would like Trev to take a look at PJ Fleck....he won huge at the historically terrible Western Michigan and is winning at an extremely tough place to consistently win., but, most importantly, he is an absolute grinder who features a 65-35 percent ration run and pass. I'm sorry, you know as well as I having sat in Memorial Stadium where the wind rips through and add the cold is wet and brutal, you can't win chucking the ball 45-50 times a game. I am not saying that we need to go back to the option, but we do need to get back to a PUNISHING ground game with giant, nasty hosses on the line. I just want to win and not Bo Pelini win where we beat the teams we were supposed to beat and get absolutely crushed by teams favored to beat us....and yes we did get robbed in the Big 12 Championship game vs Texas darn it haha! Sorry for rambling......I have never, ever seen a head coach as snake bitten as Frost especially last year. I sure as hell would like to know why this year's team is so soft and so slow??? Good Lord, Frost witnessed and experienced firsthand how physical football is to be trained and coached....he fought for his life going against that great 97 defense everyday in practice....often running for his life....I don't understand

I also think we do need more of a ground game and we should bring back the option least some times .. last year we made good progress running the option it's a good we to move the ball and still have that pass route open if needed.. no one ran it like frasier and no one will run it that way again but if we could get even a fraction of that from the 90s we could move that ball.
