Does it have headphone jack ?
Pretty good video. Is the back made of plastic plastic or glastic, which is what samsung has used for their higher tier A series phone. Also, this phone is great but also a deal breaker, no wireless charging, no headphone jack, no dual speakers, no water and dust resistant, one/two too many strikes for me

I believe because this is the replacement for the S10e once the S20's come out as leaks have shown there will be no E model of the 20 Series

It's 2021 and still love my s10 lite and I do live in the usa works perfectly
Just by the way, the s10 lite basically has a plastic back, however it is specifically a compound called glasstic, it's meant to have the drop resistance of plastic but feel more premium like glass

Samsung should call it S20 lite, since it follows the design of the upcoming S20, not the S10.
I agree. People are getting all worked up comparing it to S10 phones. Samsung didn't want it to be a part of the 20 line I guess and didnt know what else to name it

The Royal Memes the s10+ is a month or two away from being a 1 year old phone.. So you cant really have had the s10+ since day one then a month later s10 lite comes out...
they did this specially for the indian markets where oneplus has 30W charging in the same price range

You are probably an apple fan who isnt used to having a range of choices available to you.
Those earbuds are quite good. It was used way back in the s3, s4 era i think.
Yeah but a lot of galaxy phones get the akg headphones included and the are really good

3:17 from what I've heard, samsung made a plastic/glass fusion for the s10 lite, had plastic for the a51, and will use glass for the s20

Exactly this is one of my biggest gripe with the s10 lite. No stereo speakers

The S10+ hase a Headphone Jack and the Note 10+ doesn't , The Note 10 lite has a headphone Jack and the S10 lite doesn't , That's weird.
Just get the note 9 guys. Still a great option for the money

As To me I will take sumsung just for the super amoled screen.. And specifically will shoose with (snapdragon ship) not exynos.. so I think between A71 or s10 lite.. Camera does not mean a lot to me all I need is good performance
Watching this on my Galaxy S10 Lite, it's a damn good phone for the price right now at least on brazil.
The lack of a headphone jack does hurt though, all the third party usb-c to headphone jack adapters don't work for some reason. I can only assume that i either got a defective one or that samsung is intentionally blocking third party ones to force me to buy the official one for more money :/

I think i'll still go for Samsung S10e though for IP68 water and dust Resistance, Stereo speaker, AKG Headphone and wireless charging,nice camera and does not have plastic back.

This is definitely a pretty good deal offered by Samsung so far!
Still too bad, it has no 3.5 mm otherwise it is a perfect phone with this price range
I am waiting that 'new one', but I can't see any promotion and pre-order service in domestic market.
The earbuds look exactly the same as the ones from my s3 back in the days. Except for the USB connector.

I don’t get why this doesn’t have DeX. It's a part of the flagship family, ot definitely should have it. They might've not included the necessary hardware for it to output HDMI, I guess.
What’s a dex
It has usbc so it's technically possible but who knows what they cut corners on tbh.
@@insertnamehere8723 Not all USB-C ports have the same hardware features. Some can be USB 2 or 3 or 3.1, for example.

It usually follow the ability to sync data with large transfer speeds that's technically able to run dex, but in this case it's the rest of the hardware that has an asterisk next to it.
I think its an amazing phone and i dont really mind that it doesnt have wireless charging
so wireless charging is slow

Bigger display but still cheaper than the regular s10. I can see myself using it. It also resembles the s20 design. Just another option i guess.

I think the price is a bit high for the quality and the specs. I bought the A51 for 280 Euros and for everyday usage is a beast.
A51 is definitely a great value that is hard to beat right now but I do really like this S10 Lite so far

Yo maybe it's just me but I just can't get over the fact that the s10lite has a plastic back. You should never get that at this day and age even at a $600 price point

The so-called Lite has 25W fast charger with 4500mAh, while my s10+ only have 15W with 4100mAh. Wow that's very lite
If you had to chose between the two would you still get the s10+ or would you pick up the s10 lite knowing it has a faster charger ?

Please add a part about how it compares to the S10+in the review. I'm in Europe and if the Lite comes with the SD855 globally and the camera competes, then the only significant downside I see is the 1080p screen instead of 1440p which for most people will be alright. This device should be a battery champ too.
