Yeah they finally managed to do it, less game modes by killing anybody’s desire to play rank.
Funny part its thay you will still find people in rank who will drop the farthest on the map while also looting for 15mins straight 🤡

I’ve been masters in previous seasons before s17. The first three three stack masters from last season I fought this season are the beginnings I solo wiped. I have never had this many 1v3s against obvious three stacks. It’s so enbarsssing.

Nah, I love I when die and then watch my 'Masters' teammate somehow miss literally 95% of his shots. Their badge sure is impressive, too bad the 10 damage they deal before they die isn't.
I'm glad to see someone else venting the same frustrations as me in solo queue. Sweet is an INSANE player and IGL, for him to say the same things I've been venting about makes me feel like my frustrations are valid. Nothing but horrible experiences for solo queue & ranked in general this season.

Getting HisWattson pred 28 triple pred stack as a solo queue plat 4 ( this means almost gold lobbies) really is the icing on the cake. If this doesn’t wake the f up the dev team at respawn, nothing will.

as a past platinum i can't get out of bronze this season cause my enemies are 20k kills diamonds and masters and teamates are ACTUAL bronzes.I want to fight against people my current rank respawn
Your teammates are definitely not bronze, because I’m the highest ranked player on every team I solo play, and I get 2 teammates who are 1 or 2 ranks below me. You are more than likely the lowest ranked player on your teams.

As a past plat 4 (twice, bruh) I'm almost out of bronze 1, but most times I decide to check my teammates ranks when they perform waaaay worse than me I find out that they are gold. I have never seen a bronze or rookie player in my team when I checked, though I went all the way from rookie 2 up to bronze 1.
I don't get what's the point in making another sbmm gamemode. Now ranks matter less than ever, I feel like I can play a game in bronze and month later play with the exact same people in plat just because of mmr, and both games would be similar in sweatiness
Facts, like bro, if we are fighting against preds or really good masters/ 3stacks regardless the rank, we should at least get some good teammates instead of getting actual bronce teammates that get demolished in the first encounter, it does not even make sense
Console ranked is literally figure out who on the enemy team is using a Cronus, try to team shoot him. Realize the whole team is using a Cronus.

What server do you play on? On the Oregon servers you get pure trash for enemies but even worse for team mates. So if you 3 stack you can do good.
Cheaters can see they are being spectated. That's why they are always bad when you spectate them.

probably rats from last season who have no gun fighting skills and are hard stuck silver or gold this season lol
If you see a master trail next season I'd just run bro hahah this szn doesn't mean much but next season 99% of those master trails are great players
trust me majority of master trails are rats from s17 but know all the hiding spots. I hit masters in other seasons but this season i dnt even equip the trail it is truly a trail of shame. Those who equip it are usually first time masters who ratted their way there.

It’s cause your actual rank doesn’t matter, it’s all based off an invisible MMR tied to your account that only Respawn has the metrics for.

Because they don't CARE about winning as much because of their ranked. If I were to get at least Plat 4 players I'd be more happy.
I mean they ignore any problems in this game: audio/servers/cheaters/exploiters and they just built this SBMM as a big social experiment in Nazi German style to break people with weak mentality so they will continue playing even if it's not a game anymore. I soloQ’d to masters last season and literally from from gold-plat was the hardest, once I was in diamond lobbies my teammates we’re still braindead but at least they hit their shots somewhat

I love when I get those teammates that genuinely don’t do anything in a team fight and I will literally 3v1 and they are hiding in the building or holding a door all game and then after I kill everyone, they come over and take literally anything they can hold and will grab the gold shield and gold helmet 19 batteries and 8 medkits and then there’s me with 2400 damage and I walk away with 3 shield cells to my name…I wish I could say this is an exaggeration but it isnt

Story of my life. I only get silver teammates as a diamond while going against pred and master 3 stacks. It seems I can only play with silver teammates when solo yet apex won't even let me queue up with my gold friends? WTF is that respawn?!

On new account my first game in pubs i had pred and master trails in lobby. This season is just different.

This season badge is the same as last season. It’s fully time based since the lobbies you are in won’t ever change. You could be rookie and still face players at your level. So high rank players are forced to play beyond their normal skill just to rank up in the low ranks which is nuts.
Like week ago, there were three stack team and every end zone of the game, my game start crashing and I got all the symbols for loss, connection issues etc, and every time, this team was the winner

Almost hit master 2 days ago, went back to diamond 2 after being put into matches where my teammates ended up being gold 4 or plat 4 players, meanwhile most of the teams that kill us were three stack preds or master, can’t do anything when I can crack one and hurt another one but my teammates just get one clipped 🤦🏻♂️

Apex experience is basically having to deal with 3 stack master players in silver/gold and plat with teammates who are literally a walking mrvin while you got 40% package loss.
I really wanted to see sweet view at his random duos cards when sitting in the lobby and see that they are in silver, being none the wiser they're in a higher mmr lobby.
the plus side about s17 being the easiest season to get masters rank i that there were no cheaters because they didn't need to cheat to get to masters, now that there are actually fights that need to be taken (sometimes) , the cheaters have returned.
i also swear that everytime olympus is in ranked the last 5 ish seasons there has been a completely broken exploit
There were cheaters but they got master so quick that no one else ever see them again in Rank after 3 days. The 4th days beyond they all moved into Pub and Mixtapes and it was all hell there the whole season.
I envy that I can play games with less than 100 ping on the Western server.
All Asian servers, mainly in Tokyo, meet Chinese hackers from rookie tier game. Every game has a squad of Chinese hackers, XIM, and macro movements with shoot R99 from 400 meters away, around 10 squad in each game. Taiwan server and other countries are based on 400 pings and 30 loss due to hackers' experiments, and human users and non-Chinese users are reduced every season.
This season is the first season of ranked on the Oregon server this season, it's 260+ ping but mostly human users, and it was the first week I haven't seen Aim Hacks, Headshot Fixed Hacks, Forced Reload Hacks, DDoS Hacks, Teleport Grenade Hacks, Landing Speed Hacks every day in 4 years of this game. Even if I cover up, if I see my shoulders or feet, it goes down in two seconds, and even if I win the enemy squad, I don't have to take off my armor and prepare to throw Thermit under my feet, worrying about DDoS.

So I solo Q and as a team 2 of us do some work and die after 3 3rd party's, I get an invite from to party up so I accept and so does the 3rd man and then we cannot ready up because 1 is plat 1 is gold and 1 is silver 😂 but we can get matched up 😂

The behind the scenes MMR is a bit silly and noticeable. I have a few different friends who i play with. They are of greatly varying skill levels, but because they dont play consistently this season, they are all ranked silver. When I play with my two friends who were gold last season we can get multiple wins a play session, but when i play with my former diamond/masters friends (again, all in silver right now), everything is racheted up - aim, poi spread, number of teams surviving to late game, you name it. Winning a game in a play session with them is dubious, and the return on points for the night is much more modest. I've had a bit more time to play than them this season, and with floating between both groups, I've made it to plat, but many more of the points have been gained by playing with and against worse players. It feels like reverse boosting. I know last season seemed like it was giving out ranks too easily, but at least it was distributing ranks in a bell curve that was acurrate in a relative sense.

Its been a pub stomping type of season for sure. Maybe itll be better now idk, but my nimber 2 is fucking banned for a week anyway cause he cant stop running his mouth lol
And to top it all off kill bonuses were broken in S18 so you’d be lucky to get placement points that were cut in half from the previous season. S19 feels better with challenges. I went from getting sub 50 points per game to getting 200-300 points per game between seasons.

Aparently and I could be wrong but the match making I read has to do with your k/d so if your on a solid 1.0 k/d and for example a 3 stack masters has the same k/d doesn’t matter if your bronze silver etc you get paired into their lobby’s since the game thinks your similar skill.
