I fully agree with everything the first Spurs guy said at the beginning.
And yes, we probably will be back in 2-3 years regardless, but imo it's just not worth giving Potter that much time.
If we get an elite manager in the summer and he gets a full transfer window + pre season we would be back in the top 4 next season

What plp don't realise is - The only game we've played well this season has been the Spurs game. But that was Tuchel.
The salsburg away game first half was great....they were naive...
But they rectified it on the second half

All the defeats/draws recently and specifikly the defeat against southampton was a REAL big frustration and a point which made all of us feel just Potter out NOW. But realisticly it’s dumb when the club don’t have a real plan B atm for next possible manager that could be better than Potter. Let’s give him one last chance against spurs and after that the next two games coming up and THEN we’ll really know what is the right move on Potter, whether it is keep him or really out!

So is it not idiotic for the Chelsea owners to have sacked a tried and tested coach like Tuchel and then appoint Potter a novice to take over the helm. It’s a joke! This whole Potter needs time is a joke! You only need to look at what Ten Hag is doing at Man United, Eddie Howe at Newcastle and Sean Dyche at Everton. We need to see something we can hold on to!
As far as i remember, Eddie Howe came mid season immediately drag Newcastle out of relegation and progressing their playstyle.

You mentioned all sorts of nonsense. Every team is entitled to preseason games, every team have injuries, every team have ins and outs, every team change managers. None of the stupid excuses you outlined were used when Arteta came in half way through a season won a trophy and finished 8th, he was still slated. No excuse was give last season for Arsenal finishing 5th when Arsenal had no Auba in January of last year and had injuries to Partey, Tierney and Tomi. Last season, Arsenal did not have Saliba. Nobody used these have excuses but bashed Arsenal and Arteta.
This season, Arsenal’s best player Gabriel Jesus is injured, Partey have been injured multiple times, Tierney have been injured, Tomiyasu have been injured Smith-Rowe have been injured but NOBODY uses this as an excuse if Arsenal draw or lose a game. People just come out and slate Arsenal.
Now you are totalling up every excuse under the sun for Chelsea’s embarrassing and abysmal form despite £600m spent in 6 months to languish in 10th. The team can’t score goals to save their lives but the only out and out Striker Auba does not even make the bench! Continue giving excuses.

You should be ashamed of yourself using a change in ownership (who have spent £0.6b in 6 months) as an excuse for Chelsea’s failure. Chelsea finished 2nd the season Abramovich took over. I’m sure you didn’t know that because you are a young kid glory hunter who probably only started supporting Chelsea in the last 5 years. No club in their right mind spend £60-100m on “potential” as that will be daft.
