    The Kratos Quest Station is a groundbreaking inertial training device designed for both horizontal and vertical workouts. Thanks to its patented design, you can train in multiple dimensions with a single, space-saving unit. This revolutionary technology harnesses the timeless laws of physics to provide an unparalleled fitness experience.
    We'll also delve into the inspiring backstory of the Quest Station. It all started with Riley Beecroft, who set out to break the state record in the 100M dash, coached by his father Wes Beecroft. Wes, a weightlifting enthusiast with no prior sprint coaching experience, learned and trained alongside his son. Despite Riley breaking the middle school record, he suffered a hamstring injury during his high school season. Determined to help his son recover and achieve his goals, Wes used his mechanical engineering background to create the Wave Trainer, which evolved into the Quest Station through five major redesigns and countless tests.
    Co-founders Wes and Jeff are proud to offer this game-changing technology, which has already made a significant impact on athletes and fitness enthusiasts alike. The Quest Station is ready to elevate your workouts to the next level.

    Finally got a chance to watch this. Good stuff dude. That system looks wild being able to combine both of the kBox pieces into one.

    Kurt introduced me to the Kratos at his gym and it is great! Impressed on how compact it is. I could see myself working on my muscular endurance with this as that is something that is very hard to do with single intensity equipment (barbells and cables). Great video Kurt!

    Your point on value still stands, but FWIW, on the Exxentric side of things, you can get the kPulley Go and an accessory to rack mount it to open up horizontal pulls in their ecosystem. It ends up being about $1000 cheaper than the kPulley Pro system you highlighted. This setup however assumes you have some freespace on an upright to use, but it’s designed to easily take on and off. Still ends up being more expensive to the comparable Kratos setup, but it does close the gap some. I really like my setup but had the Kratos been available at the time, I’m not convinced I would have still went with Exxentric.

    • @TheKurtlocker
      @TheKurtlocker  Před měsícem

      I saw that there was the kPulley go but didn’t use it as the comparison because it didn’t best compare to the Quest with the included upright. Exxentric definitely need makes a quality product and I have used their products before, I just prefer the quest and was grateful that it was around when I was looking to expand into flywheel training

    does this also "sucks" you down when you do belt squat like the kbox? Does this fly wheel momentum feel different then the others?

    • @TheKurtlocker
      @TheKurtlocker  Před 16 hodinami +1

      It acts like other flywheel training tools and does pull you back down. This eccentric action is what you resist and makes flywheel training so effective
