wonderful beauty ❤🦋🦋❤
Wonderful work, my beautiful mother. She reminded me of studying at university. The doctor was explaining the course work. As you explain, you are a mother to everyone because you give your knowledge for free, like a mother to her children
Wow, thank you
One of the reasons other than growing vegetables in my small greenhouse is how nice and warm it gets in it during winter. I set a chair in there and just relax. 😂
You are so right. I can't tell you how many times I just go into the greenhouse and get happy. Its bright, everything is growing, warm and if I close my eyes, I can imagine summer really easy. I have thought about getting a blow-up mattress for in there so I could take naps...LOL
I like to add course gravel in the bottom of my containers to keep the drain from clogging up (that can be a problem when using peat).
Good Idea. Thanks
Very nice! Thank you for the video.
Thanks for watching!
Congratulations on your new look, I appreciate the effort you put in to the videos and thanks to camera op for keeping it moving. It is showing great talent. I only have a small number of plants this year.
I appreciate that! Thanks!!
Since you mix like that often, try a paint mixer on a cordless drill.
Good idea... thank you
I was thinking the same thing.
Gallina vieja da buen caldo!!
Old hen? She is not old… she is super hot.
for spanish speakers that's a pretty good thing to say to a super hot lady❤❤❤@@DS-tv4zo
❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing! I've been wondering if my carrots are going to make it without a substrate.
You are welcome! I hope they do
Thank you.@@HomegrownPassion
I hope you don't get angry because I said my mother to you. This does not mean that you are an old lady, but I feel as if you are my mother and you are providing information for free without charge. You are a beautiful and gentle lady.
I understand. Thank you!
I use a cement mixer to mix my soil. Its a lot easier.
It would for sure, but I only had 4 small buckets to do so I would have been more work to bring out the machinery.
No wonder my process isn't as successful as it should be. I've been using a Folgers coffee container for my scooping. I need to switch to Maxwell House 😆
I used to use Folgers and then switched, and it made a huge difference.
Why not using something like a cement mixer? can start with like 50/50 and ad what looks like must be more or less in the mixture.
I have one but this project it was just a few barrels so by hand seemed better than hauling out the equipment.
@@HomegrownPassionOk, I was thinking that poor lady must do all these mixing by hand. And on top of that her friend, or like husband only do the videorecording. LOL.
Doesn't your daughter help with the work? from THAILAND
Where did you find that large quantify of perlite?
There was a large greenhouse closing down in town that had a auction. I won 33 bags, so I have lots. Here is a link to the video if you want to see the details czcams.com/video/o7dOUZNl-C8/video.html
@@HomegrownPassion $5 for a tiny bag at home depot.
Amazon sells large bags in the off season but Lowe's has a good price here during spring and summer@@duotronic6451
We buy perlite from nursery suppliers. A big bag or course perlite, 4 cubic feet is $15.85. That’s a lot of perlite. Don’t buy from box stores!!!
If you moisten the perlite before you move it, you will have little or no dust.
True but I am going to put it back into storage and I didn't want to have put wet perlite back in bags.
Got it. BTW, thank you for your videos. I really enjoy watching you advance hydroponic gardening to so many of us. I have my own hydroponic set up on a basement room scale and grow lots of greens. Strawberries have evaded me, but you have inspired me to try again.@@HomegrownPassion
Do you own a 3d printer? I don't know if I've asked you before, but you can make most of the smaller plastic pieces that you use at home for much cheaper than buying them.
No a 3-d printer would be cool
Чтоб не летела пыль от пермита, его можно увлажнять водой, чтоб тот был мокрый
So that the dust from the perlite does not fly, it can be moistened with water so that it is wet
True but I need to put it back in storage and I didn't want to bag up wet perlite.
Hi you beautiful lady you nice dress
Glad to see you using dust protection. I bet you’ve already tried this but if you were to add water to the perlite would that cut down on the dust, or would that just cause more mess than it’s worth? Just started my pepper seeds so they will be ready late march for the garden. You know what Phil said today….. early spring! 🦦
Yes yes early spring. Yes, when I work with it I usually water it down, but I am going to put it back into bags and didn't want wet perlite in storage for who knows how long.
Hi honey... you are making promix bx . ❤
True but cheaper than buying the real thing. I also have a bag of mycorrhizae that I add to my mix to make Promix BRK for my outdoor flowers.
@@HomegrownPassion I do that too! It really is a great blend :)
