My Mother has been diagnosed stage 4 cancer it is spread all over her body and advanced, one consultant told me it will spread to her brain. she is 80, she has been in hospital for 4 weeks after we found her collapsed in her home been there all night, Now we get told they wont be treating the cancer has she is too old and to treat it they would have to find the source, tests would be too invasive, get this they making her move to a care home and she pays a £1000 a week for it even though she has a beautiful home ( bungalow) that she owns, and saying she is starting to get dementia ( when we know it is cancer) i am not allowed to go live with her to care for her in her own home, what i am saying is basically they are saying she is getting dementia, i can not get my head around it. i am in the uk. Reason i can not take her home i am not a nurse, i am confused to say the least, anyone reads this and knows anything please let me know

I believe rehabilitation is trying to restore the body to health. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong. I’ve been researching options for my loved one. ❤

How can a nurse relieve any discomfort associated with advanced heart failure?
    Prayer?
    Bioenergy exchange through touch?
    Morphine?
She must be more knowledgeable than
    Cardiologist.
    An Internist
    Nephrologist
    Pulmonologist.
Obviously I am talking about travel nurses, they are the best at saying
"O I am just a temp nurse "don't really know the patient.
