The Bucks did exactly what they needed to do attack the basket and Warriors couldn't stop them.
Steph and Klay had a bad shooting night. It was that simple. The Bucks were always going to get their buckets. Giannis is cannot be stopped. But if Steph and Klay had gotten their usual combined 50+ points, they would have won. It's like in the playoffs when they went up against the Mavs. Luka still scored a lot, but he couldn't compete with Steph, Klay, Wiggs and even Poole's sheer volume of points.

2 things why the bucks are able to defeat the warriors. one is the warriors defense which is zone, and because the bucks are taller then they can easily break this defense. second is simply they are taller than the warriors. giannis, portis, and lopez in the paint are always bullying looney :)

I don't fully agree. I will put it this way: buck have taller players in the paint who are more skilled than the warriors in offense and defense, but most especially they show to the warriors that they are not second to them in threes. If you lose in threes or get frighten by their threes then even their drive to basket surf's that fear.

I was a 6' 3" basketball player, very fast, but not able to jump very high. I often went inside and scored against taller players who loved to block shots. How did I do that? Because taller players love to block shots, especially against shorter players. I used my quickness , reverse layups and FAKES. Fake once, twice, three times if necessary and go for the shot. If I didn't make it, I was often fouled and went to the free throw line and the opposing team added another foul to their score sheet. So many shots were blocked in this game because the offensive players didn't fake at all or not enough. Looney fakes inside, but he's about the only player on the Warriors team that often does. Also, small ball teams need to do one thing ferociously on defense.
What is that? Block out the opposing player! The goal should be to block out EVERY opposing player WHEN POSSIBLE after the ball goes up. I don't mean just putting an arm on the player on touching him with a hand to feel where he is. I mean putting your body in between the opposing player and the ball every time! The shot goes up, find an opposing player, block him out and after doing so, then look for the ball. That's the key to a successful defense for small ball or tall ball teams, but especially for small ball teams. Do you feel what I just wrote Mr. Kerr?
giannis, not only is he the best player in the NBA but also the best looking one!
Seeing this as a trend, they mostly like lost when the opponent trail as much in the first half particularly in the first quarter, they have to work on their 1st quarter defense like they always do before

Curry and Poole both missed 11 and DiVincienzo and Klay both missed 10 shots. You can't a game with that kind of efficiency.

He is much more important to the warriors than Bobby Portis is to bucks and since warriors are a smaller size team he also gets much needed rebounds

Why they kept playing in the paint. Like them block really shot down their momentum. Also Devichenzo was on tonight but as always we can count on him to f-up everytime. Do 2 good plays followed up by a turnover.
The Bucks healthy are stronger than the Celtics. No doubts for me. Giannis and his team have the size and physicality to defeat Golden State in a 7 games series.
Unlike Jason Tatum, Giannis is not affraid of Golden State and can score as he wants

This gives us a glimpse of the start of the end of the warriors era. There used to be a time when the warriors would fear no team, and every team would fear them . But, fast fwd 2022, it seems the warriors has gone back to earth, and every team they face are confident that they can be beaten. I guess Father Time has finally caught up with the Warrios core, they are insconsistent and predictable, if and when they even get to the play in, The warriors will be lucky to even get to the second round of the playoffs . The young dudes like Giannis, Zion, Morant, Jokic, Booker and the rest are playin well and are aproaching their peaks, it will be very hard for the warriors to keep up with this fresh legs of 20 year olds come the playoffs and in the next 2-3 years (if they keep their core together). It is a sad reality , but No one can beat Father Time, even the great Michael Jordan didnt. And look at Lebron James today, he is still good, but he cant carry his team the way he used to during his Miami and Cleveland tenures. And this is where Steph and the warriors seems to be headin this season. Father Time is knocking on the warriors winning days. I guess there will be no more rings goin forward from hereon.

Good defense by the Bucks throughout the game with physicality and attacking mindset. Game was officiated very poorly though, the bucks were allowed to be super physical while the warriors were called for similar or less physical plays. That combination for the warriors would be super difficult to overcome especially with wiggins out and their apparent lack of size compared to the bucks. Good game but couldve been better if the refs just let either both teams be physical or both get called with more technicality. just observations here, watching for the simple love of the game and love watching both teams play
poole is floating since 1st quarter. refs made it hard to warriors? Bucks were driving to the basket all night when the same time they def'ed their basket superiorly due to size. Bucks were the better team all game and that's why they were trailing for the most-art of it. Draymmond Green was setting screens for curry the last 10 years and lets don't forget Steph hs his worst shooting nights when Green was out. Keep that in mind cause with green with the second unit (I don't know if it gonna last) Steph and klay get much worst looks cause Green is all time great screen setter and basketball IQ

Bucks are a horrible matchup for the warriors. There are few players in the entire league that can slow Giannis down and there are none in the warriors. Shit they can't even slow down Bobby Portis. All they can do is foul or give a open bucket. It's evident.

Since the 2022-2023 season has begun, the gaps in the Warriors are starting to be seen in a particular way, it seems to understand that we do not have players of depth in defense, unfortunately it is a gap that must be filled absolutely, I hope and trust that at the start of the new year the warriors can buy thick players who make the difference in defense as the problem is only in defense because the offense is very strong, considering that we have three of the strongest players in the NBA. Always and only go Golden State, always go Stephen Curry, Clay Thompson, Green. If we can fix the defense problem again this year the Warriors are candidates to win the title even if objectively the bucks and celtics are the favourites.

Been SAYING THIS FOR YEARS BUT NO ONE IS LISTENING. The thing about it is: THEY'RE BOTH AVAILABLE! The only other blocker Wiggins who is injured but I think for somebody as tall as Giannis (6'9"?) maybe they NEED AS LEAST A 7 FOOTER unless everybody's THREES (Warriors) gotta be going in about 80-90% without a 7 footer.
