Funny because french Descole voice is different in the games. His french game voice is more similar to the japanese one

@@math9172 its not even that, i mean… it is clearly french? But somehow they interpreted it as… i dont even know, spanish?? For it to be pronounced like that in french it would have to be "Descolé", with an accent. Maybe the localizers just didn’t know how french spelling goes💀

Where the heck does "Jean" come from? I assume Japanese is the original, right? But Japanese and German are the only ones without "Jean". Weird.
His name is given as Jean in the game so I assume other languages added it to fit the length of the sentence
@@globingoblin I suppose that makes sense. Though I guess they could've gone with what German did and just...add in a pause before "Descole". I was just confused because I remember reading somewhere that his name was never actually mentioned in the games. Probably just remember it wrong.
@@doombro_max wait no, you're right. His name is only Jean in Azran Legacy, so it was first mentioned in some dubs of the film. I guess it was in some insider design document about him
