- In this video I teach you a few easy steps to get better at air dribbling in Rocket League! Make sure you guys take it into free play and practice. i didnt use air roll when going for these and i can air dribble, literally no diffrence it's just for simple minded air dribbles

once you're able to control a normal air dribble well i recommend tornado spinning it helps aerial ball control alot. i spend alot of my time in freeplay because i dont like sweating in ranked but it pays off

Why is this guy helping people and getting hated so much, I mean it literally says for beginners in the title and people are saying stuff like “why is a gold teaching me” and “cool gold 3 air dribble”
Cuz he sucks at the game, and he doesn't have any game sense to give advice other than mechanics. I remember that he said to get out of plat you should learn advanced air mechanics.

You can’t really learn an air dribble by a video it’s more of a trial and error and fixing your own mistakes you also have to learn air control which is difficult by itself

I could sit there with hours trying to do it but once I reach the ball and jump . My car doesn't jump it sticks to the wall . If I double jump I miss the ball .

Me and my partner started playing rocket league together not too long ago and in the first couple of 2v2 matches online we saw someone do this and we both were shocked. We both started practicing this afterwards and learned a lot from them after getting our asses promptly kicked.
This is a great mechanic to learn, helps a lot when competing with other beginners!

The title of the vid should have just been: “wanna watch me air dribble then you figure the rest out” because he gives very poor detail and didn’t mention some other key factors but it is a good vid if you just need to see it rather than listen how to do it

Just practise in free play. Trust me it'll help and you'll rank up ez
I’d say use your brake on the wall for less than a second to line up your touch, it also helps you down the line with muscle memory for more advanced mechanics
To add to this after take off, boost towards the ball and then just before hitting the ball stop boosting to get a soft touch, then boost just after you hit the ball to balance the ball on the nose of your car.
advice for beginners: LEARN HOW TO CONTROL YOURSELF ON THE GROUND LET ALONE THE AIR
This is true, when i started playing i tried to learn air driblling first, which is terrible. So i learned how to dribble it on my car and just do basic aerials.and now im diamond and i can do air dribbles kind of ok and i can do some musties

I just got one of these after this video
The first mistake i made was feather the boost. If you are trying out air dribbles please do not make this mistake. You have to make a soft touch on the ball and then push down boost.
Yh i realised i didnt do this at first and my accuracy was off but i fixed it so that i can actually dribble it on my car so i can have more than 1 or 2 touches

Another tip is to boost off the wall but make sure to stop boosting when you hit the ball. It will help you control the ball better

Tip u missed, when u first hit the ball in the air, boost a little to catch up, like right after u hit it. So u get a nice hold of the ball 💕

The best way is by going to ipjokers map and keep doing the first shot over and over and u can do other shots too. That how I learnt after that just be a noob and go for it in matches over an over.
I've literally tried to air dribble for 5 days straight now and I can't even get the first hit in the air right.....
You know when tou air roll when you jump off the wall do you use manual airoll or directional air roll?
My problem is upon the initial jump + roll the ball is so far away from me that I can’t catch up to it in time and it starts falling 🤔

I searched up how to reset musty flick lmao how am i here.
For some reason when I try to do it now I press jump and it doesnt let me jump off the wall so I have to press it 2 times does anybody have anything to solve this?

This is all good except you wanna be as close to the ball coming off the wall as possible. The further away from the ball your car is the more likely you are to hit it too hard catching up to it or you might take too long catching up to the ball and a defender could beat you to the ball or you won't be able to keep control to air dribble. Air dribbling isn't that important these days off the wall anyways so focus on making consistent contact with the ball before doing fancier stuff. Great tutorial otherwise as far as aerial ball control goes once its established 🙂👍
Air dribbling not important? Air dribbling is probably one of the most effective ways of scoring even in higher ranks if you execute it properly.
@@marnicksantema8398 noooooo maybe back in RLCS season 1-4 but not now. You don't see many air dribble goals from the wall even in Diamond these days. Now Air Dribbles passes plays and Air Dribble flicks. Yeah you might see those occasionally in high ranks but you can't show me many games in GC or above where someone literally Air Dribbles from the wall to the net and it actually gets through. Defenders are too good for that now. Is it a cool move to have in your back pocket as a new player in lower ranks. Certainly, is it viable in higher ranks. No not really. I've played with numerous RLCS AND RLRS players I can tell you it's not a good scoring method in high level play now

1st you watch Jhzer from 2016 then go into IP Joker's training pack, practice everyday then you get good at it.

I can do it, but like cant air dribble right on net, i always fall short of it
