Last 3 Hurdles Workout with Marie Madsen

  • This morning I had Marie Madsen do 2 sets of 3x100m over the last three hurdles of the 300mh race, working on maintaining a 17-stride rhythm between the hurdles, which she was able to do every rep. Which tells me we’re ready to go over the first three from the start line, with a full approach to hurdle one. With the workout we did today, we use the 100m start line as our start line, and she stakes twelve strides to the first hurdle (or what would be the sixth hurdle in a race.
