The Best Time to Work Out? When one will actually do it. If some study comes out and says the "best time" to workout is X, and an individual, for whatever reason, can not do it then, they can use this as just another excuse not to work out. There may very well be an optimum time, but working out ANYTIME is far, far better than not working at at all.

    32:40 when it gets answered.
Factors to consider in choosing a workout time
    32:26
what we already talked about which is work the best time for you like whenever you can make it a habit are there other sort of factors you'd want to take into play
    32:32
when someone's choosing a workout time or does it not really matter to you I mean again I'm not convinced that that
    32:38
there is a big difference in time of day so number one just make sure you can get
    32:44
the workout in right and if you feel like you get better workouts in the
    32:49
morning and you can fit that into your schedule maybe that makes more sense or vice versa

I have ran for years both morning, midday and night. I find night running is more difficult because after having eaten most of my food in the day I am heavier at night. Concerning night running causing sleep problems it never has for me in fact generally the opposite. When I have time and energy I prefer morning running. Just feels easier and I generally run farther

Could it be that when you are reducing the arterial plaque your chances of having a heart attack or a stroke increases (temporarily), because the formerly stabilized plaque starts to move?

On top of what is discussed, consider that most people move during the day by default, this is why we see the effect of workout in the evening amplified.

Go ask any activity tracking vendor to analyze their data according to your design. Garmin, Coros, Whoop, Oura, etc. all have large datasets that can be used to address the question about exercise timing and sleep quality/recovery.

Do we know if the individuals chronotype was factored in? Would be great to talk to PHD Michael Breus about this study.

Study proved you would about double your gains of not dying(like 14%vs 28% or something like that) if you workout later at night, but you guys think that is not enought to change your routine. LOL. That is f huge diffrence that you definetly should concider tranining later at day.
