Review could have been shorter. Reviewer forgot to mention it's not always wise to buy a car in its first year...so, I'm not so sure about buying the first generation Toyota Corolla (2019). Also, for all the hate this car got, it has significantly more cargo space than the new Toyota Corolla 2019.

I think sport mode holds the revs closer to the power band so you can exit a curve with more power available. It's on the current corolla sedan. Not a terrible car.
You must give the new 2019 corolla hatch a review when it becomes available!

Neat review! I absolutely love the exterior styling of this current generation iM. It definitely has a bold and style-forward statement. The lack of customization and available options definitely makes this vehicle somewhat difficult to fully fall in love with, though.
Technically, though, there is an upside to this method of pricing; mainly because it is one single price with tons of standard equipment. And when you think about it, some of the standard features on this hatch isn't available on comparably priced competitors.
Nevertheless, I absolutely agree with you. If I were in the market I would absolutely wait a few months for the 2019 models. As always, from one car reviewer to another, keep up the great work!

Toyota has abandoned good taste in vehicle design and instead embraced childish design styles with angry birds, sad fish, evil whales, and dragons from hell. This comic book style of vehicle turns off their mature audience and potential buyers.
