+Saint Jimmy that would be really great, it's time that a good bromance story shows that a sincere love between two men is not a feminization of the feelings but a natural expression of masculinity. of course it doesn't work that way for everybody but it's a beautiful reality which has to be finally recognized.
Alex hated the Steve/Cath relationship on the show, and Scott was more than willing for McDanno to be canon on the series - it was Lenkov and CBS who were unwilling to go there, but frankly the subtext that was put on screen between Alex and Scott (despite all the women Lenkov tried to throw at the characters), made it pretty damn clear who was most important to them both.

If they were gay or bi, that would be so cool! But they have never been portrayed as anything but that family closeness when you depend on one another-back-to-back to the end of time brothers! This is so sadly lacking in men from the USA! That is why this relationship is so great! It shows that you can be family without blood or sexual ties! They are tied Soul-to Soul. We need to learn that love is giving without expecting any return. What wonderful role models for all males to learn you can be this close, love this deeply, and it does not always mean sex is involved, whether it is two men, two women, or a woman and a man. Ohana, I believe they call it.
