I watched it tonight on I player & I think there were quite a few sound problems. Simon was fiddling with his left earpiece quite a bit & he had to change his mic mid song at one point. I enjoyed it.

I was listening to the concert on I player I thought for the most part was brilliant but some was a bit below par for them, I don't know if it was the sound at the BBC, I know poor Simon slipped up singing some songs don't get me wrong Duran Duran play brilliant I love the new album especially anniversary!!!😍😍😍
Simon le bon, como sempre, com uma grande voz nas gravações em estúdio. Nas atuações ao vivo sempre com constantes desafinações (recordam o Live Aid). Com o avançar da idade os DD deveriam ter mais atenção ao criar novos temas, este por exemplo vai ser sempre um fiasco ao vivo. Se estiverem com atenção verificaram que em todos os temas desta apresentação há sempre desafinações por parte do Simon. Sou um grande fã dos DD desde o inicio, mas temos que reconhecer as falhas. Continuo a preferir a versão DD com o Andy, o album Astronaut, sem qualquer dúvida, é o album mais maduro dos DD. Fico a aguardar uma reunião original para um novo album, gostaria de ter acesso ao album Reportage.
Too bad. Andy instead of being there with DD on tour and doing music with them is sitting on his behind drinking momosas in Spain while these guys are busting their asses doing albums and touring. And JT has diabetes but is still up there performing while Andy collects royalties. If you don't like what DD is doing don't watch. But please don't insult them especially Simon who is an amazing singer who compared to Andy is a cut above the rest as a person. John, Simon and Nick are the heart and soul of Duran Duran. Andy left almost 18 years ago. Dom has been there ever since and Graham played guitar on the album. Andy has nothing to do with it now since the astronaut album and tour.

My generation are all half deaf because of listening to loud music in the 80s This was very powerful to listen to on radio 2 the louder the better.

Difficult song to sing with all the high notes,even for Simon
I don't blame him! Makes sense that they lowered the key for the live performance, even though it seems to lack that extra "oomph" as a result.
